I'm glad to hear it didn't feel overly complicated! Hopefully it was still fun to play even without too much complexity :)

Thank you! Sorry if the controls were confusing didn't have enough playtesting time

i love cats

REALLY addicting game the most addicting game I've encountered so fun! If I had to nitpick I would have liked it if the options I got each round were random instead of preset, but beside that amazing game!

Insane game - ambience was totally a 10/10 best i've seen in this jam so far!

Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it :)

Thank you! We unfortunately didn't have that much time to playtest so it was a bit of a struggle to balance the game properly. That being said, I'm glad to hear that you still got so far through the game!

Awesome game! One of the most creative and interesting mechanics I have seen so far in this jam, and thinking through each of the puzzles was really fun.

I really liked your artwork and the mechanic of using your dead bodies to solve puzzles was a surprisingly complex and creative twist! I would suggest making the text come a bit quicker or adding a skip option, so that the overall flow of the game can be better. Although good effort!

Fun and frustrating trial and error game! I ended up with a time of 1:15, so not the best but definitely still very enjoyable to play. I think it would be cool if you incorporated the countdown into the frustration as well - imagine a level where you think you should take your time and the clock time is huge - but then it suddenly gets cut down. Or something along the lines of that. This game captures the idea it tries to convey (frustration) extremely well, so props to you for that!

Cool mechanic having the countdown increase when you take batteries! I would recommend having less slippery movement and also making the game a little easier - especially in the earlier levels where having to optimize your gameplay from the start can be a bit discouraging. That being said, great job!

I really loved the artwork for your game, the style is super cool! I think the initial idea of your game with extending a note would have been pretty creative and brought the game to the next level. As of now, the countdown doesn't really add any new mechanic to the game, it just represents when the game is going to end. Also near the end (roughly half or two thirds of the way through) only my drums guy had notes left, and at the very end I had no notes to hit at all.

It would also be cool if we got some sort of interactive feedback for messing up - I didn't really feel any punishment from messing up besides my score (which I didn't have anything to compare to). Maybe add a screechy note or play the sound effects at the time I pressed it?

That being said, the game itself is a simple rhythm game thats fun to look at! Nice work!

Simple idea, I think if you had the time to flesh out the artwork and add sounds it would have made this game feel more immersive of an experience. That being said the mechanic itself is pretty creative!

The puzzles are pretty cool but can be a little bit unintuitive at first. To be honestly I found myself kind of confused on how to advance from the level with six buttons even after completing the puzzle. I didn't know I had to hit F either until I checked the controls - maybe it would be better to give some tutorial for the first level?

The sound was also really immersive and really set the ambience! Overall good work!

Cool little game! I like the gravity mechanic!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much!

Thanks! The learning curve is pretty hard at first but I think it gets a lot easier to pick up and play as you go on.

Thanks for playing! I definitely think I didn't emphasize and explain the tutorial enough but glad to see that you pushed through anyways :)

Cool idea, really captured the essence of an annoying alarm clock. I think it would be cooler if the game was a little more fast paced so there would be more of a sense of pressure with the countdown, but besides that great job!

Thanks for playing! I totally agree with you - I feel like the learning curve of the game can be pretty hard at first so I probably should have explained the start better.

Killing/dashing through enemies was a super satisfying mechanic! Sometimes the game can be a little frustrating when your dash fails to bring you to another floor. It would also be cool if there was some sort of time mechanic with the enemies, maybe killing an enemy adds time to your overall countdown, as of now the countdown mechanic seems a little distant from the main focus. Still, great work!

Addicting and fun to play! Each of the minigames have their unique mechanic and I can really feel the pressure of time.

Super funny, addicting and frustrating game! The narrative is hilarious and totally unexpected, and certain setbacks caught me off guard. I couldn't stop playing until I had finished the objective.

Thank you! I was actually pretty worried that the game would be hard to understand so its nice to hear that the concept was well explained.

Satisfying gameplay! I really liked your music and SFX choices as well. It would be cool if you could spend money in order to buy money, for shopping time or actual battle time. That way there could be an interesting mechanic where you have to balance the two currencies.

Simple game that is really easy to understand and play!

Fun concept, the difficulty quickly amps up and can be hard to keep up with making it a pretty frustrating experience later on. It would have been interesting to have included different types of buttons that create different effects rather, such as double coins, requiring two clicks, etc. It would have also been useful to know what each item in the shop was exactly.

Nice idea, artwork is very nice and sorting through the pile feels very much like real life. Sometimes it was kind of hard to tell what was what but it was pretty fun to play overall.

It's an interesting idea and I could definitely see this mechanic being way more complex and fun if its fully fleshed out! The artwork definitely has a childlike drawing feel while still feeling decently polished. If there was some way to better incorporate the countdown into the game, or a way to quickly submit your answer without having to wait for the entire clock to tick down I think it would have made gameplay more engaging. Overall great job though!

Super fun to play! I really liked planning through each of the steps and thinking ahead for how I had to move my block around. Really clean artwork and design, I just wish there was more levels. It would be cool if there was a more unique mechanic around the countdown too, since the countdown is rarely the limiting factor here.

I'm not completely sure whats going on but really satisfying to get combos and get blasted away!

Super fun and enjoyable game! Killing the enemies felt really satisfying and fun to do. Good game complexity with different builds for the player as well.

Thank you so much!
