I'm glad to hear it didn't feel overly complicated! Hopefully it was still fun to play even without too much complexity :)

Fun and frustrating trial and error game! I ended up with a time of 1:15, so not the best but definitely still very enjoyable to play. I think it would be cool if you incorporated the countdown into the frustration as well - imagine a level where you think you should take your time and the clock time is huge - but then it suddenly gets cut down. Or something along the lines of that. This game captures the idea it tries to convey (frustration) extremely well, so props to you for that!
Cool mechanic having the countdown increase when you take batteries! I would recommend having less slippery movement and also making the game a little easier - especially in the earlier levels where having to optimize your gameplay from the start can be a bit discouraging. That being said, great job!
I really loved the artwork for your game, the style is super cool! I think the initial idea of your game with extending a note would have been pretty creative and brought the game to the next level. As of now, the countdown doesn't really add any new mechanic to the game, it just represents when the game is going to end. Also near the end (roughly half or two thirds of the way through) only my drums guy had notes left, and at the very end I had no notes to hit at all.
It would also be cool if we got some sort of interactive feedback for messing up - I didn't really feel any punishment from messing up besides my score (which I didn't have anything to compare to). Maybe add a screechy note or play the sound effects at the time I pressed it?
That being said, the game itself is a simple rhythm game thats fun to look at! Nice work!
The puzzles are pretty cool but can be a little bit unintuitive at first. To be honestly I found myself kind of confused on how to advance from the level with six buttons even after completing the puzzle. I didn't know I had to hit F either until I checked the controls - maybe it would be better to give some tutorial for the first level?
The sound was also really immersive and really set the ambience! Overall good work!
Killing/dashing through enemies was a super satisfying mechanic! Sometimes the game can be a little frustrating when your dash fails to bring you to another floor. It would also be cool if there was some sort of time mechanic with the enemies, maybe killing an enemy adds time to your overall countdown, as of now the countdown mechanic seems a little distant from the main focus. Still, great work!
Fun concept, the difficulty quickly amps up and can be hard to keep up with making it a pretty frustrating experience later on. It would have been interesting to have included different types of buttons that create different effects rather, such as double coins, requiring two clicks, etc. It would have also been useful to know what each item in the shop was exactly.
It's an interesting idea and I could definitely see this mechanic being way more complex and fun if its fully fleshed out! The artwork definitely has a childlike drawing feel while still feeling decently polished. If there was some way to better incorporate the countdown into the game, or a way to quickly submit your answer without having to wait for the entire clock to tick down I think it would have made gameplay more engaging. Overall great job though!
Super fun to play! I really liked planning through each of the steps and thinking ahead for how I had to move my block around. Really clean artwork and design, I just wish there was more levels. It would be cool if there was a more unique mechanic around the countdown too, since the countdown is rarely the limiting factor here.
