I got a pistol from one of the presents, it said I was too afraid to hold it. Didn't saw any ammo boxes though. Is "A" supposed to be ammo count?

Hello. I've been playing test build for a bit now (Christmas event, currently day 4) and I have noticed those two meters appear next to my Food and Stamina. I have no idea what they indicate and I couldn't find any information about them. They also disappear and reappear from time to time. Does anyone know what they mean?
