Thank you for such a ride! I have loved every single and will continue to do so.
Great work, I can't really put everything into words but great work for all these 4 years.

Lastly, I would like to ask a question

The memory transfer, is it implying that SYSTEM transferred his memory into Mirall or Alex?

P.S Even the SYSTEM himself is willing to do everything for Miral, Miral's charm is too high lol

It's been a while since I had the time to play, great game as always fouzi. You've really come so far that you get to have collabs and a game for sale.

I like the story you created on this one as well, didn't expect that Butterfly will get another game for himself, you really gave judgement on his character, even though he had to get tortured a lot... Anyway as someone who have mostly played all the game in the series, it is a very different experience compared to the first time I played "Null", I have my biased like specifically choosing a character like Hassan or Isaac to vote when I have know them throughout the series.

It really surprised me that the 'SYSTEM' would show itself as the main antagonist even if it was just a incomplete revival.

Poor Reeva though, she got left just like that but I guess we can't really remove Jack and Mirall away, their connection is stronger than a magnet.

P.S - sorry for a lot of rambling, it's been so long since I commented that I had no idea what to say

you're in a ride my guy, welcome to the happiness series

Well playing the other games isn't really required as each story is contained on its own one.

What X2? I would like a further details of instruction on fixing this

Ah yes, the daughter took away her Mother's place

Oh Gosh, Carmine knew it all along

All progress gone, browser version gone.

D-frag is a recommended comedy with a good flow on its' story, the best of the best. That's a good taste

Good night Mirall

It's a bit hard to know what are you referencing about with the title. While it is mostly used as a farewell in a way, realization, grief, or Carmine with baby Mirall.
There's the Maoujou de oyasumi about the sleepy princess which is a comedic and as good like D-frag, in my own opinion.

P.S - I shall look forward for the next game.

Well, without Carmine's "Happiness Mc", that iconic moment won't happen.

"Really? Really really?"

CC and Mirall winning isn't really a surprise, CC really had a impact to the players who played Null first or latter, the Null is really far from the main story which lead to CC being the main focus instead of Mirall or the other girls. It's literally CC x Player, of course they'll like it.

Mirall being the whole reason of the Happiness series and her being a original character without basing to a real person carried it. Mirall is Mirrall, that's all I can say, her daughterly love is probably adored by the people.

P.S - I like how you add Hassan in the Heroine voting.

I see, I guess the main character as you've said will be Butterfly and Adult Mirall.

FOUZI AND MAKSIM MAKAROV(Tekkentag)

This is the best, thank you for continuing the series.

I'd like to see Hassan's sprite later on, CC getting a longer hair is fantastic, you can even use it as a clock to know how far is the series have gone through.

Spoilers

Fouzi, you really made a two different pillar! "Happiness Mc" doesn't really need anything other than his Happiness, he had no purpose at life as you've mentioned though he find it his "Mirall" and fought till his farewell from this happiness.

While the "Hassan/Freedom Mc(?)" lost his purpose and instead of happiness, what he seeks is the 'real truth', his freedom, away from this world, away from being the slave of the "SYSTEM"

I'll be looking forward for the final war, I wonder if the "SYSTEM" will use Alex.

P.S - Deathly loneliness attacks please haha, I love how Happiness Mc is loneliness while Hassan is self-hatred or more like the world hates him.

CC is still here, it will be.

I almost ignored every content of the post after seeing the word "(including Hassan)".

Anyway, so Nulls are heroic beings or reincarnated humans who had a big influence in the history thus getting a second life with or without their memory of the past.  Though it was really strange to see those Nulls acting humane, having cities and communities. It may actually mean that those soldiers with Reeva are classified as heroic and now living the life they didn't get.

Zero is playing the major role! And Hassan... Thank you for reminding me that Hassan will be in the Roster. I almost forgot about him.

I wonder what will be the reaction of "Happiness Mc's Mirall" about his Father's death but I guess I'll have to wait for that. Maybe.

I see, I might need to thank that Butterfly criminal though he shouldn't have done it.

Thanks for that thoroughly explanation about him, so other 'Alex' version with the god of time's existed as well.

If it does, that is.

Butterfly is one of my favorite version of 'Alex', it really shows the character development in every part of the game. To be honest, it's funny to note of that his name wasn't from a butterfly itself because I found it entertaining to see that he died, two times already. Just like the butterflies that was Mirall's pet.
While he did fail creating his 'own happiness', he found one again.

You did left out the part that Reeva was a reincarnated soul though you did say they were the same person so I should have expected it.

Ahh, it's lovely to see CC using the word darling.

Question: Would there be a Character Analysis for the fallen version of the MC?
That commander who failed to get a Null on their side and losing the war while he apologize to his fallen comrade thus getting their time branch deleted?

His true intention did leak out in the end which was one of the saddest part.

It's bitter sweet now with a coffee, while Mc got what he wanted. Would the others get their 'Happiness' as well?

P.S - The whole plot of the story was rather complicated at times but it did the job on showing what it needed to show.
While I did seen lots of Men who priorities their daughter. I still can't believe that the whole story of this series was only build from a father-daughter love.

I wonder if there's a chance that you'll make a story without a love in it?

Well, that's pretty true

Just imagine if someone in this itch.io community was those people and realized that they were a friend of Fouzi thus having a visual novel characters based on them.

There is a slim chance of it seriously happening but who knows.

Overall the journey was fun and great. It's good to know that there wasn't a real version of Zero, she may be a funny character but having a real person like that is maybe the greatest thing- I mean it will be a disaster for the guy who'll have a friend like that.

Spoil yourself if you want

So T's look was really intentional, that was a good add.

It really is a farewell for Happiness Mc/Alex/Happy. I didn't even get to know his real name, or did he really had one? Either way it is safe to say that this is a bittersweet ending, or more like a humorous one. Happiness is a thing that you can't hold onto forever or for a long time after all.

"Only time can tell." huh? I guess I'll be waiting for the time to pass by then.

A tons of stuff is happening IRL. Understandable. I hope you'll be alright if that's the case.

Edit: P.S Thank you for writing this story. I've really enjoyed it, a lot and that was a fun ride.

So this is a farewell for Happiness Mc, or is it?

I've been questioning why the T's appearance was the same as all the Mc(s) in the series, I didn't knew it was foreshadowing that he is a father and husband as well.

To the village he goes.

Ignoring the fact that most of their sprite are mostly the same.

I'll be looking forward to see the other characters ending. The Happiness Mc did break the promise once again, well I guess it's better that Carmine didn't see him disappearing into thin air.

Once again, Farewell Happiness.

CC and Zero are the only two who's aware about the 'SYSTEM' as Happiness Mc and T's is out of the board, as far as I know so it'll be very exciting to see if they can break it or be erased, maybe neither of the two.

So 'she' will be existing in the future.

It's a tragic arc for Carmine though she did gained a promise for the last bit of time that Happiness Mc has so a bittersweet one. You aren't planning to make Happiness Mc break a promise again would you?

Still I'm surprised... Happiness Mc still had the will of his just to make 'her' exist. I really like how that part of him didn't change.

Buggy Windows.

A good logic to use.

That was a effective joke, I had to go on the other game just to confirm if I got the name right.

As expected, the game is buggy. My saves are still connected with happiness 1 and the old saves from happiness 2 are 'not found'. While it is understandable as you did lost your access to the files a long ago, I feel a bit disappointed? from it. Not really as I was only annoyed losing my save files, hah. That thief really didn't do his job.

The grammars are lined up nicely and I haven't seen any error of it so far. Overall, it's a great remastered. The new game page lured me in as well.

Spoilers -

Happiness Mc's childhood friend, Dina was a interesting character that I forgot to mention before the remastered.

First of all why does she call her Happy?

I've been saving up this question since the beginning, why does all of the Mc except for Butterfly always pretend to forget Nessrine's name?

P.S I still don't trust any Tucks in my neighborhood.

It's the best ship yet. Butterfly who is determined once again but not with a goal of making a world for 'her' but instead protecting Reeva who trusted him out of all of them.

"Zero being Zero."

Yup, that makes sense.

Thank you for answering all my question!

First of all, Working on the remastered for Happiness 2 after that thief didn't work on it....

Nice, that's pure passion.

And I'm looking forward more for the Happiness Mc's ending whatever it is. As long as story isn't set in stone yet it'll be fun to anticipate.

So in conclusion, the observer's role already fulfilled it's purpose therefore it is  now gone in the story progression?

Forgive me for a lot of questions, I really like the idea of the reader/player having a part in the story instead of just watching over the Mc.

(1 edit)

This is a harsh yet good story.

So that's what it is, as expected. Using the Mc's mindset to decide the number of choices is a great thing to have as a sign of character development and about the Happiness Mc I never thought you'll do this. It reminds me of Ethan Winters...

I have one last question.

Seeing how CC won't interact anymore is a threat to me, anyway doing all of this before the end is new to me. I'll be looking forward for more.

Question 3: Goodbye time traveler Mc was aware of the Observer which Destiny hired. What happened to it?

Yup, I love those love birds. That was a good move, making a ship to sail for Butterfly as he already destroyed what's his. As always, only Zero and CC have the clue of the 'real truth' . I'm falling into this deeper and deeper, thus I am interested how you'll wrap things up.

It would have been nice to have that android but I did love how it refer as Butterfly knew that it will be his doom due to Zero, that small details which came from the other game is a well done. I won't leave as well, until it's over.

Spoiler Alert

You really fill up gaps at the best time. This explained why Butterfly was killable and Happiness Mc's changes as the series plays. Saying things as it doesn't matter and not using us "Observers" to choose what to do is not like him!

It became really obvious that something is interfering as I lost more choices than before, that was a good add.

I'm just laughing now as Good bye time traveler Mc is being called kid even though he is the one with college student look out of all of them. I do know that Butterfly has the oldest look but still, calling a college student a kid is funny, I hate my humors.

Now then, for the real ones. I'm curious about more on CC and Zero as these two character are probably the all knowing ones but I'm not gonna expect for now.

Question 1: Was the decrease of options intentional? If it was, that is a great choice.

Question 2: Would you explore more of CC's side just like how she knew the existence of the Player? Zero is a more mysterious than CC or maybe equal.

Anyway that was a ride for this game.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense

Is the last one the goddess of memories or is it the failed product of Mirall?

Ah yes, the reason of why I can't finish a series properly, thank you for reminding me.

Ah, the other time branches. It leaves bad taste on my mouth for not being able to do anything but watch so I'll take my regrets and frustration on the Review but overall it's a good extension to the story. If you can even call it like that.

Is this the place where the lots have met up? Wait that was a dumb question, it is deleted after all. This game only put more burdened to me as it asked Will you save the others? It only showed how much the Curious time traveler Mc and Happiness Mc did to the other version of themselves due to their selfishness.

Ah, I remember now. That explains why CC was there mentioning about a 'certain man', and my memory about Reeva. I'm loving how the story is going.

Time to take a breather, those bad end are quite the comedy and it was good to use some of this bad ends for information.

Anyway I forgot to talk about this in Devotion but I didn't expect you to use those  side branch into the Happiness series, and Butterfly's point of view getting shown once again is a ride! So the afterlife does exist in the story.

Reeva was a very interesting character as she is the first person that Butterfly ever trusted after doing all of those things and very different to her hysterical mother Destiny. Thinking about it, this is the first time that a Null got killed rather than being beaten by a human.

CC is everywhere once again. By the way, as Butterfly did get killed once again for the sake of Alex's resolve, is he in the village now achieving his happiness or would the council take him away again?

I liked the fighting section where I had the option to do things that can lead into my demise  instead of seeing the battle unfold. You really did a great job doing it!

P.S. I'm still struggling remembering where I heard Reeva's name, great game as always Fouzi.

Otaku girl in rpg is very odd. . . Hassan too though Anya's look was in my expectation being a rich girl and all. In my opinion-

Your storyline always stands out the best in VNs, which made me like Null a lot causing me to be invited on this nameless journey and it really feels very strange to see them all look like that, personally.

That was a ride! It's a quite a pity that I didn't even see Zero's figure but to my surprise, she's living a life.

The choices lost more of a quantity but it's still a great journey. CC is cute as always.

Hassan getting mentioned, here and there.

Ah yes, Zero is one of the mystery within this series. It would be nice to see how CC and Zero got in contact at the first place or maybe I just missed it. I'll be looking forward to that game and more of that 'girl' in this Time letter

Now that you've mentioned it, most of your games is a sequel of another or so. This is the only thing that had a ending itself.

I've finally played Milker, I had made a sense on what happened in 'Devotion'.
There's a misspell in the prologue part.
It's either in one of the npc dialogue or the scripted ones. By the way it's the toilet girl who clogged the toilet, it's in her extra dialogue as Ben says cloged.
Anyway, I didn't thought that Otaku girl is close with 'him'.

I like how CC is just in that part, it ruined the atmosphere which is comedy for me.

Great game as always, fouzi.
