The game was tested on a laptop with a GTX 1050Ti 4GB, and it was able to hold 60 FPS on medium settings without issues.

Please try the following:

  • Update your GPU drivers and all other system drivers.

  • Restart your PC, and launch the game without opening any other programs.

  • It might also be a DirectX 12 issue, so try running the game in DirectX 11 instead.

Try to download the game again and use 7z to unpack it.

Thank you for feedback — I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Regarding the gameplay issues and bugs, I completely understand your points. Since I’m developing the game solo — and it’s also my first full project — some rough edges are unfortunately unavoidable at this stage.

And yes, you’re right — there are a few AI-generated elements in the current version, such as collectible cards and some of the character voices. However, in the next major update there will be no AI content at all: all voices have been re-recorded by professional voice actors, and all 2D art is being replaced with fully hand-drawn illustrations by an artist.

Thanks for your detailed feedback, I really appreciate it!
I wanted to respond to a few of your points:

  • I intentionally didn’t give the suits any gameplay effects — the idea was to let players freely choose Oni’s appearance without feeling forced to use a specific outfit for bonuses. All stat or ability effects are meant to come from the body implants instead.

  • The aiming mechanics and physics (including hair) are still being refined, so your note is absolutely valid — I’ll keep it in mind for future updates.

  • I completely understand what you mean about quality-of-life features like journal sorting — I’d love to add that later, but for now, I have to focus on the core gameplay systems first before moving on to polish and conveniences.

  • As for visual effects on Oni’s body when certain implants are equipped — that would take a lot of time to implement properly, so it’s not planned for now. But you can still check all installed implants and their effects in the character menu with [TAB].

Thanks again for playing and for such thoughtful feedback.

Try the "Download" button from the devlog.

Thanks for the feedback!

The movement and camera system will definitely keep improving — adding camera settings is on my list for future updates.

And yes, some NPCs do react depending on what Oni is wearing (or not wearing) — I knew some players would try the “butt naked” route. 😅

Really glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for keeping an eye on the project!

Thanks for the feedback!

At the moment, expanding the outfit customization system isn’t planned, but I’ll keep it in mind for the future. Glad to hear you’re having fun with the game!

The respawn cutscenes will be expanded in the future, but they’ll stay more on the “passive” side within the main storyline.

As for the infection system — it’s currently being completely reworked, so I can’t give a concrete answer yet about different stages or more visual changes. Once the new system is in place, I’ll be able to share more details.

Hi, thanks for the feedback!

It’s strange that mouse sensitivity doesn’t change for you — I just tested it on my side and the difference is definitely noticeable. I’ll double-check to see if there’s any specific case where it might not apply.

As for the map: in 0.3.5 you can already unlock it by going to a map station and pressing [E] to download it. After that you can open it anywhere with [M]. In the next update, the map will also show the player’s current position to make navigation much easier.

The game is still in development, and I’m working on improving existing systems alongside adding new content — so each update should bring a better experience. Glad to hear you like the potential, and I appreciate the honest feedback.

You don't have to unlock warehouse door to get Main Labs. It's just optional room.

At the moment, I don’t have plans for Android or other platforms — my resources are barely enough to focus on developing the PC version alone.

Unfortunately, the next update won’t be compatible with save files from previous versions, as there will be too many changes. After next update, saves should remain compatible with future versions — at least that’s what I’m aiming for.

Thank you! I really appreciate the support.

Thanks for the feedback, I’m really glad you enjoyed it!

Yes, there will definitely be more NSFW content as the story progresses, but the main focus will still remain on gameplay and atmosphere.

Check the corridor opposite the infected girl.

Please create a topic in the bug-report channel on Discord with a detailed description of the problem.

You can change the key mapping in the control settings.

1. Create a shortcut of the ParasiteInside.exe file on your desktop — right click the file and select "Create shortcut" -> Desktop.

2. Right click the shortcut and open Properties.

3. In the Target field, add -dx11 at the end (it should look like this:

4. Save the changes and run the shortcut.

Some players had the same problem. After a CLEAR installation of the drivers (not Windows Update), the problem disappeared.

Try running the game in dx11 mode - if the game starts, your drivers are not working correctly with DirectX 12. But playing in dx11 can cause graphical bugs.

Update the drivers for all components in your PC.

Here's a link to 0.3.1 - this version of the game was compiled on UE5.3 like all the previous ones. The 0.3.5 version was compiled on UE5.5, so it's quite possible that there may be problems on Proton.

The brightness in the game settings can be adjusted up to 150%.

Thanks for the detailed feedback — I really appreciate you taking the time to write this, and I totally get where you're coming from. I know the H-content can be polarizing, and it's always helpful to hear honest opinions like yours.

Actually, I do plan to release a censored version of the game in the future — it’ll have slightly different story flow and cutscenes, with no adult content. So hopefully that version will be more in line with what you're looking for.

And thanks also for pointing out the issue with that room — you're not the first to mention it, so I’ll definitely rework it and add a better hint or fix the difficulty curve.

Really glad you’re enjoying the horror aspects — I’ll keep pushing on that side for sure.

Hey! In short, you need to update all the drivers on your computer. If this doesn't help, then visit my Discord.

No worries at all — the public release of this version is planned for next week, so you won’t have to wait long. Thanks for your interest and support!

Hey! Thanks a lot for the feedback and kind words — really appreciate it!

Just a quick note: since the game is still in development, some areas and mechanics are still a work in progress, so situations like this can occasionally happen. That said, the Level 3 door near the brothers is actually intentional — in future updates, there will be a reason to return there.

Thanks again for the support and suggestions!

Hey! Thanks for checking in - no worries about the impatience, I really apreciate the interest.

The latest update, version 0.3.5, was recently released for Early Access supporters on Patreon and SubscribeStar. In about two days, it will become available to all paid supporters on those platforms. After short exclusive period, I’ll also make the update publicly available for free and post it here on itch.

Okay, it's a laptop. This should be enough for a smooth game on medium settings.

Check the system for programs that use resources, and a virus scan is also a good idea. Update the drivers, especially for the chipset and video card.

If nothing helps, then create a thread on my Discord server and we can take a closer look at the problem.

I aim to release content updates every 1-3 months, depending on their size and complexity.

Yes, of course, there will be an explanation of why later in the story. And Oni is not the only one who has this ability.

Hey! Thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback — I really appreciate the time you took to play through the whole thing!

As for the implant limits and weapon modification system — those were definitely in the early design ideas. But since I'm not positioning the game as a shooter, I'm still debating whether it would really benefit the experience.

Again, thanks so much for the support and detailed thoughts.

The UE engine itself is very demanding on PC resources, so it's not surprising that you have low FPS, as it is advisable to run 3D games on a dedicated graphics card.

Try to run the game with DirectX 11:
1. Create shortcut of the ParasiteInside.exe.
2. Right-click the shortcut, select Properties, and in the Target field, add -dx11 at the end of the path.
3. Apply the changes and try launching the game using this shortcut.

Later, I will add the option to scale the resolution of the screen, which may help to run the game on very low-end PCs.

What is your PC configuration?

The game was tested on a GTX1050Ti 4GB, with an i3 processor and 8GB of RAM and the game ran smoothly at 1080p with normal settings of 40-50 FPS.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback.
When you are in Sector 9, open the map and find the passage labeled “Sector 8” on the right. There you need to turn on the door and having the 3rd level of access, you can either go through the ventilation shaft (as you first entered Sector 9).

Someone posted that they launched the game using Proton and the game ran quite well, but I can't guarantee the performance.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and for giving the game a try! I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed the atmosphere and the unique mix of elements - I wanted to create something immersive, so it's great to know that it resonates with players.

I definitely understand your concerns, and I agree with many of them. Since I'm still relatively new to Unreal Engine and game development in general, I have to balance improvements with making sure updates don’t take an entire year to release. There are things I know could be better, but I’m doing my best with the time and resources I have. That’s also why the game is free—so that players can enjoy it without the pressure of it being a polished AAA title. Maybe I’m asking for too much, but I do hope players can look past some of its rough edges for now. If the game gains enough financial support in the future, I’d love to bring in professionals to improve key areas like animation and optimization.

Speaking of optimization, it's interesting that you had performance issues. Most players actually praise the game for running well, and some even play on a Steam Deck with stable 30 FPS. I’ve also tested it on a laptop with a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, and it runs at around 50 FPS on normal settings in 1080p. Still, I’ll keep an eye on performance and see what can be done to improve it further.

As for aim assist and controller support - those are definitely on my list! I can’t promise anything right away, but I’ll explore how to implement them properly.

Again, I truly appreciate your support and patience. It means a lot to me as a solo developer. I’ll keep working hard to make the game better, and I hope you’ll enjoy the future updates!

You can collect all the collectible cards in the game. Here is a video to help you:

Thank you for your feedback. I would be very grateful if you could rate the game.
