[spoiler] Man getting that Ivar ending on first playthrough is foul. I'm so mad!Especially since game gave me the hints, I just tralalaed because man pretty and sad.

• stare at this stupid rune for the entire game (oh is that a rose? fits the flower man nod nod)
• ROSE Of Hecate mentioned
• ROSE OF HECATE said to let you jump bodies
• ROSE. OF. HECATE. (aAAAAAAAAAAAAA)
• backstory revealed (and I'm just gonna say it was so cruel, but made so much sense for his character and made sympathising with him so easy)
• he LOVES his sons!! the circumstances are just real dire!!!
• we hug! (did he enchant my ass there? is it physical touch for him? is that why I didn't get the option to smooch? am I that easy????)
• he says he will probably help us (owo)
• Io says he likes us (owo) (definetely not biased or trying something)
• Io is pretty unproblematic and goes down pretty easily 👍(headmaster who)
• he saves our ass
• why is a rune there? don't worry about it babygirl okay yippie!
• our girlboss girlfailure other self wakes up 😃
• we say goodbye to everyone and it's all very wholesome! <3
• ''would you still like to know the truth?'' kinda sus but okay ''why are your eyes-?'' ANYWAY NOT MY PROBLEM ANYMORE

• Is Ivar gonna bring us back again? So he doesn't feel lonely? Will he not let us leave? Is it a one time thing?
• I do feel like we had something there but my god some rules don't fix morality

I'm both so mad and impressed, because this is such a good bad ending:

1. Is genuinely heartwrenching

2. Makes sense

3. Is more of a sum of choices that lead you there than one silly choice you make at the end of the game

4. The game gives you hints and from what I've seen in the guide there a few ways to prevent this

Now APART from all of that:

• I really like fishing (it's so easy and simple and let's you get stupidly rich so fast)
• the characters are great (really liked Quill's plot twist)
• the pacing is just right
• the weird morality really helped to establish that this is a different world from our own and the entire worldbuilding was both really funny and really enjoyable
• our Palmier just trying to get some more time with their sister is so sweet and sad
• this world Palmier is so messy and I stan
• the strap joke took me out
• I'm sorry Poppy 🙃

In all seriousness the game is amazing! Made me tear our a little at the true ending, captures the original atmosphere nicely and characterization is on point, just *chief's kiss*.
