I thought the button for hitting the wall was a bit funky, but the game was pretty fun. Loved the song, and everything felt very fluid.

This is definitely the game I’ve spent the most time on. Didn’t expect to get so hooked on it. Still didn’t get close to 26 moves. The leaderboard is a great addition. I don’t think I would’ve spent nearly as much time if it weren’t there. Good work on the game, loved the simple concept with some replayability.
Very creative game, loved all the characters. Love my homie, Taxathor the Withholding. Fun game that reminded me a bit of Papers Please, except it felt like my actual job. I would appreciate it if it were even more hectic tho, as I felt I wasn’t stressed out enough. The art (and my homie Taxathor the Withholding) were definitely my favorite parts. Keep up the good work.
I like the simplistic art. The idea is fun, I do wish there was an incentive to strive for the minimal moves made, maybe by providing points or stars based on the number of moves made. I always tried to make the least amount of moves, but I was never 100% sure if I did. Great sound effects tho, I really like the noise that would play when you collected all the keys. Good work.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Believe it or not, that description on the game page was originally all inside our “How To Play” screen. Even then, we still struggled making a more concise and easy “How To”. For our future games, we plan on adding some little visuals or quick little pop-up guides to help make it make sense.
We had mentioned the idea of adding a hint button, but never got around to it. However, we did discuss adding a hint sheet on our game page for anyone who wants to beat the game, so if you ever wanted to finish it, it should be up soon.
Thank you for all the feedback and for enjoying our game; it means a lot.
Glad to see you found the solution. When we originally made level 8, we had designed the solution for 3 moves, but one of our friends (May, in the special thanks) had found that 2-move solution. We kept it in and added some more levels with the idea of having multiple solutions.
I’m also glad you liked the pixel art. I tried very hard to make it look good, and I feel it paid off very well.
Thank you for playing our game. We really appreciate it.
Sorry about that! We didn’t even think to test for something like that. We’re new to making games, so things like these are something we don’t even think of, so thank you for bringing it to our attention. We’ll try and fix this in case anyone else ever decides to play it.
Regardless, thank you for playing our game. We appreciate it.
I’m glad you liked the art. I’m very new to art in general, and I was very proud of what I was able to make in the few days we had.
I do agree it should have some sort of way to edit or change the queue without having to clear it all. When we first started making the game, we had intended on making it more of a drag and drop system, but our temporary solution of just clicking became more of a permanent one.
I appreciate the feedback, and thank you for playing our game.
Good to see someone else had those visual challenges. We’re both fantasy nerds, so the setting just kind of felt like the right setting for us.
We had thought of adding more variety in puzzles (such as moving enemies), but we were worried about having a large scope. Looking back, I do wish we had added just a tad more, but I’m still quite happy with the result, and I feel we were still able to make plenty of creative puzzles without too many elements.
Thank you for the feedback, and I’m glad to see our polish was noticed.
Extremely charming game that had me hooked all the way through. Very similar to the one my friend and I had created for the jam, but with key differences.
I loved seeing all the new elements added every few rounds. Level 20 was by far the hardest, and I took probably about 20 minutes alone on that level. I personally liked level 17 the most, as I felt it had the most clever solution.
I loved all the sound effects and the music; it reminded me of the music in Webbed (BTW, I never turned off the music). The little roll animation Elizabeth had was also very amusing.
Excellent job with the game, highly recommended. I’ve sent it to my friend to give it a play, as I think we could learn a lot from your game.
