I thought the button for hitting the wall was a bit funky, but the game was pretty fun. Loved the song, and everything felt very fluid.

My highscore 🥱

Fun and simple, was more addictive than I would’ve thought. Good job

First playthrough was like a jump scare when all the hooded axe men ran at me. I found the best strat was sitting in a corner and shooting. When I wasn’t doing that, I was fearing for my life constantly. I loved the art, very PS1 era. Good work.

I loved the music. Art was great. I almost beat the game, but on what I assume is the last level, the boss fight, there was some sort of glitch, and I wasn’t able to do anything after that. Other than that, I had a good time.

Don’t worry, you can blame our art guy

This is definitely the game I’ve spent the most time on. Didn’t expect to get so hooked on it. Still didn’t get close to 26 moves. The leaderboard is a great addition. I don’t think I would’ve spent nearly as much time if it weren’t there. Good work on the game, loved the simple concept with some replayability.

I loved the color palletes, and the music fit well into the whole game. Lots of tricky levels, and they all felt very satisfying to beat. Fun game.

The art looked great, and I love the little fourth wall breaks after every kill. I will say tho, on the later levels, I started having noticeable lag, and it became nearly unplayable. A shame I couldn’t finish the game, but strong game nonetheless.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who was jumpscared at the start. Had no idea what I was getting myself into. I loved the concept, and the music was great. I do wish the ghost provided more of an obstacle for me to overcome, but I overall enjoyed the experience. Great work.

Fun and simple game. Hate it when my dog gets too excited and becomes an ouroboros, but I’m glad to see others have this issue. Good work on the game.

Very creative game, loved all the characters. Love my homie, Taxathor the Withholding. Fun game that reminded me a bit of Papers Please, except it felt like my actual job. I would appreciate it if it were even more hectic tho, as I felt I wasn’t stressed out enough. The art (and my homie Taxathor the Withholding) were definitely my favorite parts. Keep up the good work.

I’m glad that the page explains the game a bit more. I was a bit confused at first, but I’m glad I got the hang of it. Good work!

Very fun game, I especially liked twirling the quill and launching it down the screen. The music made the game feel very intense. Very unique take on the theme, an idea like that hadn’t crossed my mind, and it was very well executed. Great job.

I like the simplistic art. The idea is fun, I do wish there was an incentive to strive for the minimal moves made, maybe by providing points or stars based on the number of moves made. I always tried to make the least amount of moves, but I was never 100% sure if I did. Great sound effects tho, I really like the noise that would play when you collected all the keys. Good work.

Cool concept, great work.

Cool concept, lots of potential.

I’m glad you liked it. Puzzle games aren’t my forte, but Hunter is a puzzle fanatic. (He used to make custom Portal 2 maps.) Even then, I still had a fun time trying to make clever and creative puzzles, and I hope they were interesting to solve.

I’m glad you liked it. We had a lot of fun making it.

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Believe it or not, that description on the game page was originally all inside our “How To Play” screen. Even then, we still struggled making a more concise and easy “How To”. For our future games, we plan on adding some little visuals or quick little pop-up guides to help make it make sense.

We had mentioned the idea of adding a hint button, but never got around to it. However, we did discuss adding a hint sheet on our game page for anyone who wants to beat the game, so if you ever wanted to finish it, it should be up soon.

Thank you for all the feedback and for enjoying our game; it means a lot.

It is one of our more tricky levels, but I’m glad you liked it still. We were discussing adding a cheat sheet/hint sheet on our game page to help anyone who’s stuck and wants to finish the game. Regardless, thank you for playing. I’m glad you thought it was interesting.

Glad to see you found the solution. When we originally made level 8, we had designed the solution for 3 moves, but one of our friends (May, in the special thanks) had found that 2-move solution. We kept it in and added some more levels with the idea of having multiple solutions.

I’m also glad you liked the pixel art. I tried very hard to make it look good, and I feel it paid off very well.

Thank you for playing our game. We really appreciate it.

Thank you for playing, we definitely had a lot more ideas but we’re still very happy with the result.

Sorry about that! We didn’t even think to test for something like that. We’re new to making games, so things like these are something we don’t even think of, so thank you for bringing it to our attention. We’ll try and fix this in case anyone else ever decides to play it.

Regardless, thank you for playing our game. We appreciate it.

I’m glad you liked the art. I’m very new to art in general, and I was very proud of what I was able to make in the few days we had.

I do agree it should have some sort of way to edit or change the queue without having to clear it all. When we first started making the game, we had intended on making it more of a drag and drop system, but our temporary solution of just clicking became more of a permanent one.

I appreciate the feedback, and thank you for playing our game.

Hee-Ho. Thank you for playing. I’m glad you had a good experience :)

Good to see someone else had those visual challenges. We’re both fantasy nerds, so the setting just kind of felt like the right setting for us.

We had thought of adding more variety in puzzles (such as moving enemies), but we were worried about having a large scope. Looking back, I do wish we had added just a tad more, but I’m still quite happy with the result, and I feel we were still able to make plenty of creative puzzles without too many elements.

Thank you for the feedback, and I’m glad to see our polish was noticed.

Believe it or not, we actually intended on having only 8 puzzles (cuz it looked like infinity), but once we started making levels, we knew we had to add more. Glad to see you liked it so much, we worked hard and feel very happy with the result.

I’m really glad you enjoyed it. I didn’t even expect the rotations to add so much depth at first. It was very fun trying to make puzzles with them in mind, and fixing any unintended solutions (which still managed to slip through). Thank you for playing.

Thank you for playing. We originally didn’t make the UI change with rotations, but I was getting way too confused when we were testing the puzzles. Glad to see it was noticed.

Thank you for playing. I’m glad you enjoyed it so much. We had a lot of ideas for the game, but this one stuck with us the most, so I’m glad to see others felt the same.

Thank you!

Extremely charming game that had me hooked all the way through. Very similar to the one my friend and I had created for the jam, but with key differences.

I loved seeing all the new elements added every few rounds. Level 20 was by far the hardest, and I took probably about 20 minutes alone on that level. I personally liked level 17 the most, as I felt it had the most clever solution.

I loved all the sound effects and the music; it reminded me of the music in Webbed (BTW, I never turned off the music). The little roll animation Elizabeth had was also very amusing.

Excellent job with the game, highly recommended. I’ve sent it to my friend to give it a play, as I think we could learn a lot from your game.

High score of 187.

I like the use of theme for this game. It was fun trying to balance my power in the early game. The space ship was always the death of me tho. Good work, keep it up.

This is my favorite game so far. Felt very rewarding to destroy the reign of chess pieces. Nice work.

Great game! Loved the green flag the most. Although I wish I could've had:

- A pause menu
- Hiding the shop
- & Upgrading the flag

All in all, it was a blast to participate in this game jam. I learned a lot and can't wait for the next one to showcase my improvements.
