The dread of counting down the days is unparalleled. I've never played another solo TTRPG that made me sigh so heavily with each roll of the dice before.

This has been a depressing but also reflective game that can be an emotional rollercoaster at times, and it's amazing how you achieve that in 7 entries! You have to reconcile your loneliness, ever looming potential of death, and your questions not just about your past/identity, but also about what the point of your fragile life even is. Spin this a different way, and you have the freedom to be anybody you want to be for 7 days: no responsibilities, no ties to the rest of the world.

I'm not done with my playthrough yet, but I've reached the stage where I know how it's going to end. 😂 My character may be struggling to escape their state of hopelessness and despair, but I've enjoyed it a lot!

I've been having a great time playing this once every few days. The words just flow.

Aw thanks so much for playing it & leaving a comment! And for letting me know about the images - I'll look into it.

I loved the visuals and soundtrack in this game because of how soothing they are, and it's amazing that you did all that yourself. The letter ended up feeling bittersweet but hopeful for me (I chose the 'let's break the walls down' option haha, couldn't resist making amends).

I did forget for a bit that this was set in a coffeeshop though, because when playing I kept imagining the protagonist's room, in a house they shared with the letter recipient. It just felt really personal, I think.

Regarding the letter's content, I felt it conveyed a sense of a fairly complicated history between the two individuals, whose relationship hadn't experienced the best levels of openness and authenticity that the letter writer wished for. I dunno if this was intentional, but I couldn't really grasp what the specific events were that had happened between them, so it confused me a bit in the middle of the letter. The ending brought me back though, since I could choose whether to leave or stay.

A really sweet if rather sad story told through a letter. Feels like a journey of growing up and taking responsibility. :')

This is really cute, oh my goodness. It was fun to learn how to navigate the controls and getting the hang of it after a while. I notice the movement of the little monsters (zombies?) tends to repeat after a while, but beyond that, I enjoyed this game.
