I definitely had thoughts about how to expand the Els, and things that could be done with them, but game jams be short. Especially stuff to show they're different people despite it all too; it's not really addressed here, but the way Kali just ends up calling them "El" in-universe like they're interchangeable is definitely a character flaw, haha. As they are, they work as a symbol for the story, but other then Raphael and maybe Gabriel they're mostly pretty basic.

I might've undercut it with some humor, but I think you hit the nail on the head with my implementation! Stuff about how, despite only being there a short time, Kali is still being affected by the places he visits and carrying them forward with him, and passing them onto others around him. The story 'sucking' is mostly because Kali isn't used to the role of storytelling, but it's meant to show his earnestness in sharing this story is the part that's important and meaningful, the connection you feel through the story being more important than the story itself. Twas my thought with it at least.

I really genuinely hope you keep at it; there's a lot here that's good and worth doing, despite rough edges. It's clear where your skills are, and it's a shame the other areas don't hold up to where things like the animation and such are. But these things are simply the result of practice; take your time, keep learning and growing, and make something great. I know you have it in you!

Also Milo was very cute, best boy

Really wild story that is entirely camp and self-indulgent. A very fun time to go through it

Pretty interesting, and really integrates the myth well, and has some fun gameplay-esque segments. Somewhat basic progression, but works well

Ah, okay! I changed my review then. I hope my original review wasn't too rude about it, but this is a serious topic. I apologize for my own ignorance about your intent and perspective on the subject

This is a pretty fun VN, gorgeous UI, nice music and sound design and such. Cute characters and such.

Edit:  Changed some stuff based on creator response.

A nice story of two idiots being in love despite themselves! I enjoyed it a lot, and there's a lot of charm in its presentation; the character designs and the backgrounds for instance. You put a ton of passion into this, I'm truly impressed

A pretty simple story about two guys getting together over unusual circumstances. While it wasn't especially amazing or unique, it was well made and I enjoyed my time with this VN. Was an enjoyable experience

Pretty fun story. I think the interplay of the DnD and real life could've been stronger, but it wasn't bad or anything. Story was resonating pretty well, enjoyed it a lot. Think you could've been a bit bolder though; very concerned with playing it safe to avoid being misconstrued, when I think bolder choices would be better 0/10

Fairly interesting concept and lore, but it does edge into a bit of the lore feeling a bit like everything exists primarily to make the sex make sense. It's interesting lore, but it is what it is, and it's good and interesting stuff overall.

This story was very nice. Slow paced and simple story with a lot of heart. Enjoyed my time with it a lot.

Pretty fun story. Wouldn't say it was the greatest, but I enjoyed my time with it. I'll say, the premise is pretty interesting and unique

I very much enjoyed this story, as uncomfortable as it was. There's room for improvement on some presentation, but this story has a strong core and does hit some parts very very well.

Pretty good short slice-of-life. I kinda like that it wasn't really about anything or had a strong thesis. Made it feel honest about the emotions involved in a way that was nice, especially for a short story. I enjoyed it

Added one, thank you for reminding me.

Haha, that's fair enough

I tend to find action scenes tedious, both reading and writing. An ideal SotP would have fun, in-depth "Trials" as well! But I don't think *I'm* able to write that. If I tried, it'd probably come out clunky and awkward, and bring the experience down more than the skimming method I did go with. Maybe it wouldn't have! But that's the call I made about it, as a solo writer doing a passion project

I hope it was an enjoyable read regardless

Hope it was a fun romp regardless!!! (Apologies about the lack of boyfriend pls forgive 🙏)

Yes

Just set it up! Let me know if there's any errors or strangeness with it, I haven't tested extensively

It can be a little spooky, yeah.

Found the maskless sprite huh? Interesting

Very fun. The presentation is amazing and easily the best part of this so far, though the ending took that down just a little. Otherwise it's a little basic, but in a cozy way that doesn't feel lazy or anything

I gave it fairly low ratings because I don't think it deserves to win any awards or anything, but don't take that as me not enjoying it, I had a good time

Thank you for checking as well, I'm very grateful.

Thank you very much; I was sure I'd make some sort of mistake with my first attempt at making a Ren'Py project. It should be done properly now

That tends to happen with most EXE files as a possibility, regardless of what they actually are
