Please try loading a different save file. This kind of error sometimes happens to me during development as well. Usually restarting the game fixes it, but in your case it will most likely not help.

If you don’t have any other manual saves, please check the autosaves. There’s a good chance you’ll find an autosave that’s not too far from where you were in the story.
