Hi, thanks for the review.
We wanted to add some puzzles into the game, such as moving boxes to create shadows. But We didn't have the time, we may expand the game later.

Hi, we indeed added sound to alert players that they are getting damage. We haven't been able to submit the newer version of the game until the jam evaluation ended.

I like your idea of flashing the player, we will implement it and test it and see if we like it.

Thanks for the feedback.

Would have love some music. It's fun!

Cute concept. The last couple of levels were really challenging. Though I did not understand why it slowed down when walking on those final levels ( or is it just me? )

Nice work. I loved the zelda 2 throwback and the music as well

Great game, got me interested right away

Really beautiful graphics, and I liked the Kirby like feel, but with a modern feel.

What an interesting way to bring this concept to a NES like game.
One thing it could improve it is in its overall presentation.
But I played it several times to try to improve my score. and boy this game is hard, in a fun way.

Really nice graphics. Couldn't figure out the money system until I read the hints, and even then didn't know the purpose of the stuff. But really interesting concept.

I liked the wall climbing mechanic but found it too difficult and found it hard to make out that the spikes were harmful at first.  But it was fun.

I really liked the graphics and the ambiance.

(1 edit)

I really like the graphics and the audio. Although probably the audio is beyond what the NES could do. But great job in that area!.  I found a small bug at the end, or I am not sure if it is supposed to happen like it did. but the song ended and nothing happened.
Edit: oh I just read that there is a bug on the web version. I'll try it again later, I had so much fun with this one.

It feels really NEssy.

It feels really NESsy. I liked the final boss. The game is somewhat short but one could argue that is even more NESsy.
