music is actually so elite. overall super cute vibes and great idea. i feel like i'm reiterating but the mascots are so cute  (behavior and art). great job!

i tried this on my laptop and then plugged into my monitor so I could lock in...

it's really impressive you were able to create such an instrinsic hook and feel to it within the jam. not only best 3d game I've played so far but also v creative. i adore the responsiveness (flashes on enemy hits, etc). great work!

I initially wasn't hooked in but by the end I was pretty impressed. art and music fit the vibes and were elite, and i was lowk started questioning my own feelings about lettuce midway through :)

Sorry about your fingers... :(

Glad you liked the atmosphere! Thanks for the feedback :)

charming art and music! i like the mechanics and your idea is really unique :) one piece of feedback would be the web build stuttered for me at times, causing my inputs to register twice, but this may have just been me. overall great job!

Thanks for the feedback! Well done to you as well :)

Glad you had fun! :)

RIP... thanks for playing...

came from vgdev - really well executed idea! i love the UI and everything is super cute. the music is banger and blessed my ears. gj :)

fellow vgdev here, I really enjoyed the feel of the game! from sfx to animations to music to the mechanics. great work!

fun idea and well executed, I liked  figuring out the mechanics and improving as I got used to the map!

Thanks for playing :) Glad you had fun!

Haha, sorry about your head... Bad Clyde.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! You're now the 2nd person to bring up timers I think, and you did a really great job of explaining why it would be able to contribute. Now that I'm thinking about it more, a countdown timer for each level and a win/fail route for each would be really cool! I'll likely revisit the game post-jam :)

music is such a vibe. love the art and animations as well!

Fun puzzles, amazing music, art, and sfx. all around amazing game. one of the best i've played in the jam. transforming mechanic was very creative. well done!

We did actually plan to have some fingers around the room as the game goes on! Cool that you suggested it, and thanks for the other suggestions :)

really impressive bullet hell, refreshing and fun to play. i really like the VFX and the powerups were great! i love the start menu click, but I agree with your previous comment on decreasing it to 5 or 3 :)

Super fun game! I've played this type before but this was really cool with limited lives, cult vibes, and moving objects on the way down. I was so close to getting it on hard mode T_T. Great work all around!

love the art :) had a very fun time learning the mechanics, though it was a bit difficult to understand at first. great work!

poor guy... T_T

thank you sm!!! tried really hard on the audio haha

Thank you for the in depth feedback! I agree and I actually felt the tension fading sometimes during my playtesting as well. I wasn't sure if it was because the difficulty was too easy in the middle levels, the consistent finger cutting every round, or a combination of both, but I definitely felt that expectations were too easily met in that section, which is an issue for a horror-esque game. I think it may also be because I saved all the tension for the end. As for losing fingers depending on performance, I wasn't sure how to  work it in (multiple endings, play until all fingers are lost, etc). My partner suggested a countdown on each puzzle, which I've been thinking about. I'd love to hear your opinion on it!

Unfortunately, the backstory was the part we were going to get to if we had time, along with finger cutouts that accumulated on the floor as you lose them to increase tension :( Definitely agree on that end.

Thanks for playing :)

LOL thank you! glad you enjoyed it :)

really well polished game! I love the UI, and it was cool to learn the mechanics. reminds me of 2016 flash games in a good way. only piece of critique is that I feel like the difficulty ramped up a bit quickly. great job!

really pretty game. reminded me of Past Lives instantly, though it ended up being way different. i love the environment and how the subway noises and music tie into it. overall great game :)

I love the interpretation of the theme, esp as a student lol. really cute style and minigames! the audio was a vibe. fun play, gj!

super fun interpretation of the theme! mechanics all felt intuitive and was pretty fun to put them into practice. I agree with the others on the great balancing and learning curve :) the sfx and responsiveness also felt nice! gj!

I failed on press the button after ten seconds and it was so funny LOL. then i failed on press the button after 20 seconds sigh.

Very cute game! great work and love the explode sfx

what a cute game. love the interpretation of the theme. the art and sfx are so fitting, and the music is the best I've heard in the jam thus far. great job ^^

OMG the style is so fun. The level of interaction is great (taking notes rn). Was an amazing play, great job!

he's just misunderstood...

Thank you sm!!! Loved the art in yours as well ^^

Such a cool game. The sfx is heaven to my ears, and the art goes so well with it. Loved the "Now do it again without it" haha. Mechanics felt nice, gj!

Love the elemental synergy spin! Works so well with a countdown. The art is very cute, and the music goes crazy with the juicy sfx. Overall, gj!

Wow, great work. I really enjoyed the writing - super great job on it! I love those parts where you played with the sense of scale with the art, I couldn't tell if I was tripping out or not haha. As a fellow student, this was great.

Super fun game! Was a really cool spin and brought a different experience. It kept me really engaged and brought out that sense I've only got from BTD. I think it'd be really cool to see how it would integrate into a tower defense economics system! Worth continuing development. Great job!

Love the audio! The sfx and music combo felt really responsive and engaging as a player, matched the vibe of the game well. Overall, well executed idea, loved the skill trees!

The vibe is amazing! Instantly sets the tone of the game, and the cow animations are really, really cool. Great work as a solo :)

I love the artstyle and music! It's such a fun vibe. The release year question was great haha
