Definitely how that works lol. I didn't get to do much for our game since it's finals week but I hope to have off work and school for whatever jam I do next. Insane work!

Glorious. The game pulled off the art style really well and it was super fun. I actually would love to see this taken further after the jam because it's a blast. All the glowiness taking up my screen scratched my brain in a very particular way. Balancing issues and not a ton of story, but that makes sense for a jam game. Can't believe you were a one man band!

ADORABLE!! Love the concept!

Super pretty! The music is quiet but it sounded nice. Didn't notice any bugs but the camera tracking is a bit odd to me and the character size on screen made it a little difficult to focus on the game. If you didn't, I'd recommend using the cinemachine package in Unity (free and by Unity!) for the camera. You can add a cinemachine brain to the camera and change the offset and add lookahead, which I think would make the gameplay a bit smoother for the player. Loved this one overall!

YIPPEEEE

It's not a bug, it's a feature /j

The cat is immortal bc its chaos keeps it going- it simply cannot be vanquished within this mortal realm

Thank you :P

Thank you! We didn't end up having time to fix it but we had a couple of other animations too ^w^

Hi! The cat was dark blue to mimic the way black fur used to be done in cartoons- such as the cat in Sailor Moon being a dark purple. I found the black to be too harsh with the background. The spawning of the tiles was just an issue I ended up not having time to fix, as it was an animation loop
