This is genuinely my favourite game I have played this jam, so far at least. I literally don't have any complaints besides maybe some background music wouldve been nice. At first I was a bit confused by how I was supposed to avoid damage since the explosions are so big and plentiful, but upgrading the kick a bunch and realizing there was an item that gave me temporary invincibility helped me understand there is actually a lot more gameplay to this than just watching explosions. It is super fun and addictive, it feels great to play, the art is so cute and I ADORE the player dwarf, one of the cutest characters I have seen, I am so impressed! Well done :)

I spent maybe 30 minutes playing this, and most of it was spent trying to figure the game out. With some games, that would be a bad thing, and although I encountered a couple of frustrations and had to reset a few times, overall I would not say this is one of the games where the learning curve and trial and error are bad at all. The vibe is immaculate, the art is great, it feels like I've found a terminal to access something hidden that I shouldn't be able to access if that makes sense. This is genuinely amazing, I am so invested and would love to see this polished up a bit and turned into something special.
While there was a lot I didn't understand, the idea itself isn't bad. I think the map is meant to be glitchy to add to the horror vibe but it feels way too glitchy to be useful at all, I don't really understand how it is a roguelike but maybe I just died to the stalkers before I could get any kind of upgrade? Either way, the way the darkness looks as you're walking around and you being almost forced to turn off your flashlight at times and enter the pitch black darkness because of resource management is super cool and I think this could become something awesome if developed further :)
While I wish the art and sound design and everything was a bit more original, the gameplay itself is actually incredibly addictive. I sat there for way longer than I thought I would trying to get a better score, even optimizing the ways to hold my fingers on the number keys. Definitely proof simple gameplay does NOT mean bad gameplay, well done :)
What a lovely game :) The art is outstanding, the vibes are great, the gameplay took me a few minutes to figure out but once I did, I felt really clever playing my cards in the optimal orders and whatnot. There are of course some small issues like the music not looping and whatnot but like, it's a game jam, the fact that you made this in this short of a time is so cool. Very well done!
The game for me lagged to the point it was borderline unplayable, but I don't think that's on you as the developer since nobody else seemingly encountered the issue. I rated the game not based on the experience I had but the experience I can see is offered if that makes sense. And that experience is very very very awesome :) I LOVE the art style so incredibly much, I love the presentation, the gameplay seems simple yet fun from what I managed to play, I really hope this gets expanded on so that I get to experience it fully in the future :) I love silly pink monkey
