Personally the music was well worth the download frustration in the end, but I would recommend the built in itch.io hosting if you are able to use it. Web app has an upload size limit as you said, but I think if  you use that Butler app to upload, you can put files on there that are quite large so size shouldn't be an issue. That could have changed since last I looked but if still true it should solve file size issues. If you upload a zip file, it'll be quite accessible then I feel. I think it's free? That would be great if it's easy for you, it'd be easy for us customers. If it's size limit has been reduced in recent times, then there aren't a lot of great options that are free unfortunately.

If that ends up being the case, Google Drive is fine, in my case I just have to click and wait a while for it to go, 1-3 files at a time (in case this saves anyone else some time, it was quicker to DL  once I figured out a method).

The music is like, higher than 5 stars if they'd let me.

Love the music, however download method leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot get it to download, no issue downloading other files either from Drive or anywhere else. Currently I'm unable to download the files.

Finally was able to download, very slowly, one at a time.

If you have Aseprite then get the GMS2 autotile converter script. It can turn the 5/6 tile autotile format to both 16 and 47 tile. Separately, there is also a converter out there for the Godot style auto tile sheet. Hope that helps!

Bro said he was cookin' and he was right! 😂Dang Gif, ok when this hits 99/99 get ready to take all my money 🤑🤑

Dang it Marumugi, talent on talent. The SNES looking versions of these are really nice! I'm using the nes style for a little game at the moment.

With your blog post, you have hit on something I've been thinking about lately as well. I used to love videogames, playing videogames, single or multiplayer. A passion since I was a kid. Now 41, I find it harder to lose myself in those worlds. But you gotta look at it as an opportunity. Your soul is saying "Ok, I've had my fill of this for now. It'll be here when I come back. What else about myself can I explore?" I found out I have a healthy love of camping at 40, know that I wouldn't have appreciated it as much if I'd have found it younger on.

Like someone said below, after a rest they come back. You've been eating steak and potatoes long enough that your tastebuds are like "Ok, now if this was so good, what other good things are out there?"

Regardless, follow your heart, tempered by your brain, and you'll be a-okay!

No worries just happy to see y'all still kickin'

Golly gee they're back :O

Yay! Welcome back!

War is hell

Oh nice, thanks for getting back to me! Looking forward to this!

Did you ever test compatibility with this by chance KUBATAIGA Dynamics?  <3

No no, thank YOU for making these great assets!

Just FYI, there is a definite lack of ARPG style monsters outside of a couple of packs, if you're ever looking for any good niches in this retro style you have. I would pay for a monster maker like that, or even  just a series of 4 directional monster chips. Just ideas floating out my ears, don't mind me!

Loving this. Oh man, I'm going to make so many custom objects/accessories!

Having bought it, yes, they seem to all be 4 directional

Love your work!

I disagree with most of the complaints. I feel like these assets are well worth the wait as well. This is just how some artists work. Some of us suck at timeframes, too. But, Mega Tiles always come back eventually with excellent quality work. Also, great opportunity while they're not here to practice your own pixel art and try to make your own custom sets for this software.

I get that it sucks to wait for stuff, especially when the person you're waiting on might be bad at communicating realistic timeframes. But have faith, Mega Tiles usually pulls through.

Gif's pack is excellent, and is mostly compatible with other similar pixel tilesets, is easy to edit when needed, and I love the character designs. As someone who has trouble creating smaller RPG characters from scratch, I've learned a lot from these. Buy his all in one pack, totally worth it!

Gif, thanks for the awesome work! Can't wait to see it expand in future and buy more packs. <3
