Thanks for the info.
Now it works again. The last upload didn't work anymore with automatic dimensions, no clue why.

Cool idea and good execution
I needed a minute to realize I need to TAP the controls and not just hold.
Also it took me a few tries to complete it successfully (which I think is fine and provides a challenge).

Overall I had fun :)

This has to be one of the best games of the jam imo.

Unique mechanic, nice gameplay, quite challenging when progressing. Absolutely fantastic.
I loved the different "attacks" of the enemies, that was really good.

The shop was a bit overwhelming for me with the circle mechanic :) and didn't feel as impactful as hitting the correct spots in the fight.

Great work!

Pretty nice, simple improvements, I would have loved: showing how much rent is due while playing and counting your money up during the animation of "payout".
Some more mechanics like a "reroll" on the slection would have helped for a bit more control, but I knew what you were going for and the effects of the different stocks were versatile.

haha and I just broke it by pressing SPIN like 100 times, I think you need to disable the button.

Thanks for playing and the nice comment :)

We plan to finish it after the jam, with another level (not a platformer) and polish everything a bit more.

I think with "DASH" the "BURNOUT" skill was meant ;)
You need to unlock it (then it is the W key).

ye progression makes sense for the jam and the tooltips weren't unreadable huge.

Nice game, the shop is a bit hidden on the bell and some descriptions are still in spanish.
Also where to spin the wheel is a bit hidden at first.

Game works great, the visuals look nice and once you get the hang of it it works really well. Good job!

A bit sad that it is only in spanish, since my spanish "es muy mal".
I got a lot of legendaries in my rewards, which makes them feel not as special.
The permanent flashing of the screen is way too much and annoying, don't know what even triggers it.
The end of the map is not visible at all, suddenly there is a solid invisible wall :)
The UI is very small and in the corners, which is hard to focus on while trying to dodge enemies.
The scaling of weapons compared to the enemies is too slow, I can dodge them later in the game, but there are so many and i barely kill them, that I can't keep it.
Having Q as the dash feels very awkward on a WASD movement, just put it to space or something, that would work way better and I didn't see where the cooldown indicator of the dash was, so it was hard to know when I can dash again..

Other than I think it is a really solid game for a 1 week effort.
I liked it and could see it becoming a finished enjoyable game with some tweaks and improvements.
The enemies looked very polished and diverse I enjoy that a lot as well over having 2 or 3 enemies or 1 enemy with just different colors.

Overall good job!

OSHA violation, got me good :)
Well done game, and lots of different reasons for the souls, I like it.
Would have loved for the "Pack" upgrades, to be a different visual than the incremental upgrades (just nitpicking).

I already told you in another thread, I had a blast playing this.

Sadly when playing in the browser most of the game is cut off, so I can't see anything.
When you fix it, answer here and I'll try it out again.

The first arena works well. the other 2 i tried multiple times and both players just dissappeared never to be seen again.

I didn't realize for like 5mins I needed to press jump multiple times while in the air.
Also what I still don't get, I have 3 moves at the start, but not attempts count as move but mid air jumps as well and when I get moves back is also unclear to me.
The concept with the penguin needing to cool down, fits the current weather in europe ;) but I felt the heat bar made no impact, maybe it does if you hit a few jumps into the water, which I couldn't so maybe that was just me.

It's hard to see what you can walk through and what blocks, that makes it lose quite a bit of wanting to play, because there is little space to dodge enemies sometimes, and while exploring you come into areas, where you don't know what will block you when the enemies come.
When not playing full screen the powerup selection, didn't scale (they were out of vision and way too big).
I liked how fast you get upgrades and that they help meaningful (crow ally for example)

I like the tutorial, I feel the game pace doesn't match your ability to move though.
It takes forever to switch sides (rotate): I defend green, then i want to shoot and meanwhile there are 1-3 bullets hitting me until i manage to activate red for the attack.
Also moving could be faster imo.
The mechanics and also the different bosses were nice.

What a great game, insanely well done visuals, all very coherent.
A little bit of gameplay in there, to keep you on your toes ;)
And a good story, with lots of references thrown into the emails and dialogs, etc.
Loved it!

Thanks for playing and the nice comment :)
I agree on the stone background, will improve that.
And it is quite challenging, not only for you. I also struggled sometimes when playtesting haha

Very nice, enjoyed it!
Nice progress speed, which is important on idle games :)
Unlocks came a bit too fast for me, I wasn't even near them when I got them unlocked (not sure if that is bad or ok though).
The tooltips could be a bit BIGGER (I'm kidding they are a bit huge compared to everything).
Also nice themeing with the later upogrades, I did wishlist on steam :)

Took me a bit to realize what I need to do, that I just need to hit in between the asteroids.
But it gets quite challenging and intense :)
The music fits very well, I would have loved to see the "cat" theme a bit more.

I like the visual style and music, it fits very well.
It took me a while to realice the "Roll dice" is a button you need to click and I didn't get what the goal of the game is with buying the tiles? Kinda like Monopoly?
The mechanics with moving and everything works great, also the dice counting down on move is very well done.

ah i didn't try to rotate after clicking, but always dragged in a straight line :)

Quite challenging :)
the initial bar with pressing SPACE could fill a bit faster imo.
But other than that very nice, i didn't make it to the end :(

I couldn't figure out how the left mouse button do anything to help spin the crank?
And the upgrade menu is not the full screen height (or at least I can't scroll far enough to see all items)
Also the numbers of the upgrades, some are very hard or impossible to read or figure out which number it is, prolly increasing the font size will help or elminate the problem.
The graphics are very nice tho :)

Nice game :)
I didn't realize i could shoot at first, some info in the game would be nice there.
Also what, I didn't like, that when the enemy dies, while it fades it still blocks and does damage, that's counter intuitive.
Also I got lost a bit, it's confusing since there are lots of ways, and everything kinda looks the same. (I didn't find the boss in a few mins of playing.)
I like the gears jumping around and also that you heal and get ammo from them and the killed enemies drop generously :)

this was awesome haha
i had a blast and the sound effects are peak (even though they get a bit obnoxious after 5mins, no offense ;) )

https://kirbby.itch.io/burning-rubber hey would appreciate feedback as well :) thanks
