i am taking into consideration these various problems for the next update, currently:

powerups like bombro wouldn't do that weird "lag" in the next update so it should be much more fair cuz it actually would hit when it's supposed to

respawn bombs have a planned rework to give a point to being a bomb, they are also effected by the above change

the ice breaking is a bug, same with the flight with bio (but not the hyperspeed)

metal mushroom might be getting some tweaks

As WarioTheHeartAttack Said, i don't own the servers since this is a mod and the og developer is nice enough to allow mods to use the same servers. it's out of my control to fix unless i use my own servers, which i don't want to deal with.

if there is a sizable amount of players playing this mod specifically after whenever i update it, maybe i will consider new servers
