As a tip: you can use the keys above the spacebar as well! (see on the ‘controls’ page after you join a game) Makes it a little easier than just pressing one key, and we had some players use two hands (or have a friend help) to make it easier! 💕

Hey, you’re not an idiot! We only made this game in 4 months so the tutorial is not robust, not your fault at all. 

You have to spam the keys quickly in order to break items! Try hitting a bunch of keys at once or using both hands. Some items can be broken while you’re hidden (like the couch and the ball, hide under the couch to break those two!) so use that to test it! 

If it STILL isn’t working, try downloading the game instead of playing it on web. Best of luck!! 💕

Ohh that’s a great point! Ngl most of us just lowered our entire browser volume in the system settings and turned up the Discord volume when we played online 😂

By saying that, we were just specifying that by default, the keyboard doesn’t control the menu - but it was never meant as a restriction if people wanted to use profilers or mod their setup/our game! ♥️

Great question! This game is designed to be played with 2 players, so type in any room name you want and tell a friend to put in the same code and you’ll be playing online together! You can see how many people joined your room in the lobby/“ready” screen (with the tutorial/controls).

If playing in single-player, feel free to type in whatever and join / start the game with that!

Hi, thanks for playing + posting!! Honestly your screenshot is confusing me - the dialogue that’s showing up is from halfway in the game, but the start button is from the beginning and there should never been a moment where the two show up at the same time. So we have no idea how this happened 😂

Any chance you can recreate the bug? 

yes i know that i used windows XP for the game aesthetic and older versions of the windows OS for the banner lmfaooo shhhh,,

only realized once i started writing this description that the 4 instruments lowkey correlate perfectly with the hogwarts houses (or what i remember of them)

try walking to the right and see if there’s anything… interesting you see. and go investigate it! the hitbox is a little different on that level so just mess around with it.
