Update - I got the lha to run directly from the USB within an Amiga Games folder without modifying the xml file.

I just bought this and can't get it to run on my A500 Mini. I followed the instructions with the lha at the USB root and pasted the .xml into the whd database. The game tries to launch, it says "Loading, please wait" but the green drive light turns off and it just stays on this screen indefinitely. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

Could you point me to a tool to rename FLOPPY? I can see it in DOPUS and in Voodoo-X but can't seem to change it after moving the abbeys_full.adf file to my Ram Disk.

I got this running on a MiSTer, but can't figure out how to quit back to Workbench. Any help?

Purchased - thanks so much for making this! Ever since playing the C64 version I've been wanting to see it on the Amiga.

Thanks for  the help. In this version the Code screen works, then it goes to the Skeleton screen and asks to change disks. I change the adf file to Disk 1, it tries to load but fails. Sometimes just a black screen, sometimes a Guru Meditation error. Maybe  there really isn't enough  chip ram doing it this way?

Got the demo working on an A500 Mini, thanks! Looking forward to this one.

I tried the No Check version, and it tries to load but can't get past the intro screen with the skeleton in the background. The screen  tries to scroll down with button presses but bounces back up.

Does anyone know how to get the .adf version running on an A500 Mini? When I launch the QuestMenu.adf it says I only have 300k of Chip Memory then crashes. Game options won't let me change the Chip Memory. I can run  the Quest program (non-adf) from within Aminimiga  workbench which says I have 8 MB of Chip Memory.

It doesn't matter - every mode I try, North America, Europe, CRT, or not and I get the color shift when scrolling stops.

I tried the updated version on my C64 Maxi but it still has the annoying color shifts when scrolling starts/stops.

Great game, lots of fun, but save states don't work quite right on my TheC64 Maxi. The bottom area of the screen with score and lives gets garbled. Anyone else seeing this?

(1 edit)

I see the same issue on my TheC64 Maxi but it's not just the foliage - the brown of tree trunks changes, the purple of the bricks changes.
