I did the animations using Aseprite. Just lots of frames and subtle pixel changes to make it as smooth as possible! Thanks for playing our game, glad you enjoyed the puzzles/music : )

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Upgraded SFX and overall sound design is on our list to update, so you'll get that foul death sound for sure.

Hands down the best game I have played from this jam. I loved every part. Only a few things I ran into, such as me clipping through the floors on some big jumps. The only other thing I would suggest is the dialogue closing when its done, rather than giving the continued option to keep talking, where it repeats the same message- just would help with flow. Other than that, amazing stuff, I chose the ascension ending after collecting all of the trinkets.

Super immersive visuals and cool to see fmod being used! Reminds me strongly of Animal well with the CRT look, dark colors, and sound design- but I think I enjoyed this even more haha

The subtle details of birds flying away and the particles were perfect.  Great work from everyone on the team!

This was really cool! The idea of using your previous runs to aid your future self was well executed, and the puzzles felt difficult, yet doable. Solid work, if you ever are looking to expand the game and need music I would be happy to team up :)

This was a lot of fun! The dialogue was funny and I enjoyed finding all the ways Phi could visit her lover, fun music too-

Fun game with a good concept but I got stuck when I couldn't make money since I spent too much on priests.

Fun game! Love the inscryption/buckshot vibes, but I like how it played differently. Good replayability, and it could see further development with more nuanced abilities and strategies. Maybe some unique hand-drawn cards too, or non-standard playing cards unique to only the game. Good stuff!

Very cool game! I think the puzzles designed were smooth and overall very achievable by the player. My only suggestion is maybe a little calmer music, with some more space in it, the mossy biome felt more calm visually than the music provided, but that track is great for a menu or title theme!
