This is so cute! Playing feels so fun! as soon as the little guy started to slide, I was in love. And the whistle use was so smart! I was so impressed seeing the environment switch and being able to take a different path.  I also appreciate you making us go left first! Soundtrack is on point. Great game!

Hidden treasure here.  If this had checkpoints, I could do several more levels. Great idea for the whistle and the mechanic works extremely well! Nice game!

You're welcome about the audio. I read on the discord about it, and I know how important audio is for a game, so I had to see. I am beyond grateful for the kind words! I've only done 4 jams but never close to this kind of traction. I want to play and rate them all just to show thanks, but I do have college and 2 jobs lol.  This has been an amazing experience and I definitely wanting to keep polishing the game, as should you all! Thank you again for everything! :)

This is a really cute and fun idea for a game. I was very pleased to see the bear in level 2 maul me when I whistled. I was a little upset it made me do level 1 again though. Other than that, I just want more. The whistle was great, the fact that the sound radius grew the longer you held it was brilliant. I wanted to be mauled by a trick bear in a snow pile too lol. But these are tiny extra feature. Great use of theme and sound effects! Finding the dogs is very satisfying. Nice game!

This is one of the games I rated the second day, and it wouldn't let me post my comment! I'm sorry! This game was super cute, and the summoning/ freezing bird mechanic worked great! I think the use of theme but especially the whistle was fantastically unique. Those poor unknowing birds...  graphics are great! I even downloaded and played it to hear the audio! nice job y'all!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the whistle is an absolute lifesaver sometimes haha

Lol thank you for playing! :)

Thank you! :)

Sorry just responding, it said can't use that here or something to that effect.

This is a really good start to start to a game that I would not mind keep playing. The shoot light through environment worked so well and that visual along with the movement of the character was done very well. The extra ending - please stop ok here's a heart- I loved! Nice work!

This a really fun idea, and I was able to do several levels without getting bored or frustrated. My favorite choice is calling the power a "Toot". One specific thing would be to add some color or something to point out where the player is at the start because I was just pressing keys until I saw them move. Great game and fantastic audio as well!

The first attempt no matter what I clicked on she wouldn't trigger the door is locked event leading to the check the window event. My second run- through I just gave up and assumed I would make it further if I reset again. I used the flashlight out the window, she pulled up the whistle and said let me wash it in the sink at least first, then I went to the sink and clicked the whistle and specifically made sure the text said "use in sink" came up but she still wouldn't wash the sucker.  I think she just didn't want to put her mouth on it, I mean I wouldn't lol. We know where it came from!

Thank you! :)

This is pretty fun and the need of the whistle was a nice touch.  You made surviving in two ways fit seamlessly together. I was feeling like I was turning into the flash and moving faster than the path would generate, but it was still doable. Really fun idea! nice work!

I was not able to complete the mission, unfortunately. I tried several times, but it would not let me wash the whistle. Reading has never been my strong suit though, so I'm sure I missed something. Either way the game looks great and makes you think! Awesome job!

Lol he definitely does not have an easy path ahead. Thank you so much! :)

Awesome! Glad you liked and thank you for playing! :)

Really cute characters and music. I enjoyed the defend the ball minigame. I do think the ref freeze could be a bit more merciful, but great concept and easy to understand! Awesome work!

Thanks! And thank you for playing! :)

This is a really cute and fun game. I was honestly feeling a little terrified and protective of my babies lol. It took me a second to get the hang but was worth it. I was surprised to be able to win without finding all the babies and really appreciated the UI showing which ones I had found. The sound and vision not going through objects worked great! If there were an even easier level 1, I think it would help ease players into the gameplay. Awesome work and super unique/fun interpretation of the whistle!

Love, love, love this game! When a pedestrian exploded, I literally cackled out loud.  You've made even failing a fun thing. Great work, use of theme and object, not to mention it's cute and works great! Awesome job!

This was great! I could not make it past the third level. I really wanted to, though! The launching of the character, the certain walls being ice and not able to be stuck too. The exposed air and the chilling wind were all fantastic elements! A little more forgiveness and it would be a banger! Awesome work!

This is super good. A little tedious to remember which key to press for the corresponding blocks, but it felt worth it honestly.  The extra level with all the spinning gears that you just walk through sings to me. 1, it's rewarding and 2, it shows how much effort and care you put into the game. Great work, and fabulous use of the whistle into a mechanic.

I actually love the simplicity of this. Graphics are super cute and it feels easy to play without realizing how long you have played.  Honestly the cooldown would be nice, but also if the frozen yellow tiles fell after a bounce or a few bounces that would help add some difficulty as well. Great work, cute game.

I think yall did an excellent job. This is a game that I would actually play and try to beat. I was able to get past one boss, but I didn't seem to find to many health replenishing items to keep me going like the fires were available. The only other small thing is that the basic whistle attack was a little shrill. lol but these are quick fixes to a great game! And the art is awesome!

Nice puzzle game! The whistle use was clever and worked great! You put a lot of work into this and I can tell! I think this would be worth polishing for sure! Good work!

I was really impressed with this game. The freezing and the whistle were used brilliantly. The puzzles were a good level of challenge. Seriously the double red egg one made feel dumb for not being able to get it and the smart for solving it- which is exactly what you want the user to feel for a puzzle game. Super cute, works incredibly well and unique. Great work!

I loved the art and was impressed by some of the visuals/ and mechanics. Like the fires lighting up for checkpoints when you make it there. Climbing worked great and art/music was peaceful and easy on the eyes. Nice cozy platformer!

This was an awesome and complete feeling game- especially for the time slot. Loved the extra details like fading all the faces besides the right one when you fail. It was really fun and encouraged second tries! Great game!

Great art and gameplay mechanic. After figuring out the movement system, it is pretty fun. A small exploit: I was able to rapidly click the wheel to solve the cat and mouse. Great game!

Great game! Didn't expect to be emotionally touched by one of these lol. Very cute and the sound effects/ visuals were on point.

Thank you! I absolutely agree! Will not skip out on those next time! Thank you for playing and the tips :)

Thank you! Definitely gonna polish this baby. Loving the feedback, thank you!

Thank you! :)

Awesome advice, thank you so much! And Thank you for playing!

Thank you! :)

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed and felt the need to protect them lol.  And that would be a really cute feature to try and add as well. I'm currently working on grey-scaling and setting the friends color to random and having them stay with you!

Thank you for playing and kind words! I'll be making some adjustments to this project based on feedback after the jam, so I really appreciate it!

Thank you! :)
