There's a lot of promising things I see already. More durable zambos with (visible! already!) damage states is a great change, adds some tactical choice and maybe bullets won't be as abundant as in 1. Grid system has a lot of potential, especially if multiple buildings might compete for the same land.
The not so much: the protagonist looks so out of place, and not just because he doesn't have tits bigger than his torso. The family just moved to a new home and he's wearing his homemade Sasuke cosplay for it because...?
