The colors and color range are very pleasing and more so in the PDF. I can smell minerals while I’m reading and even feel a little of the humidity. The lighting does that too.
For example, there is a page where the stonemason’s face is lit up and the color is so bright in the scene I get reverse video color bleeding into my vision, like if you looked into a flashlight.
The story is interesting and I love how they interact with each other. The stonemason is “sweet”, I guess you might say. They relate uniquely and honestly to each other.
One of the earliest comics that I read on Filthy Figments. The artwork is gorgeous, like it’s been painted on wet plaster.
Talitha is a trans girl, computer programmer who owns the house. Aki is a photographer, I think.
This used to have a keyword like “daddy kink”. There is meta-commentary about saying “daddy” and “little girl” to each other. There’s spanking and lot’s of hot stuff. They talk sweetly to each other through out all of it.
The people encountered in the story generally have an androgenous appearance, as if that is typical, maybe. There is an episode of jealousy and drunken bad behavior is shown with how they resolve the episode together. There is romance and communication about how they feel about each other. I like that the relationship doesn’t end as a result of each being of a different mind and that they communicate clearly.
This is so much fun. It was a big hit on FF, judging by all of the comments. The meta aspect of it is fun, being about creators, with their anxieties about their show being part of the story. I think it’s the most directly comical of Rowan’s comics on FF. The relationship between them is funny and relatable. Some typical relationship difficulty is on display.
On FF website a reader pointed out that “aromantic” spectrum is represented in the story.
Packed with puns, there’s feline, botany, mythology and internet humor. The color palette is completely different in different sections. Erotic scenes are romantic and involve characters with various body types and gender expression.
If you are using adobe acrobat, in full screen the pdf comes up as a slide show. You can disable that:

Another gorgeous comic by Gutsy. The artwork is beautiful. Very pretty naked bodies, for one. A very pretty woman. The title is cute since one of the early scenes is Caleb having what seems to me like a peculiar need for order in wanting an olive tooth picked to his sandwich.
There are incidents in which characters express power over others. Their sex play seems related to frustration about social roles and those incidents. It’s very hot and interesting for me to consider how I would feel in their places and how it might change as their relationship with each other and society evolves.
This was the first ACE spectrum story on an NSFW site I ever saw. NSFW primarily because of sex content. So, asexuality was an interesting topic. It fits perfectly among all the comics on Filthy Figments, many of which don’t have sex as the main story line.
The topic was welcomed and I’ve spent a long time thinking about how it might relate to me.
Like other Hien Pham stories, it’s emotionally touching and encouraging.
Nancy is so cute! The story is an adorable romance, with no dialog. One of my favorite panels shows their very different interests, presented like “perfect match”. Astra’s insecurities and other character traits are interesting to follow, the supportive and encouraging mom is nice to see, all done without words.
