Fucking hell.

That phrase stuck with me throughout Minty Fresh. Fucking hell. This is a powerhouse of a story. MC Araminta (aka Minty) is compelling and complex. ‘The incident’ and ‘the rescue’ are superbly drawn. (hehe)

The Bone Clock is an intriguing, weird, fun, scary horror mystery. You should read it.

Please tip if you can

I read Morning, Sunshine. You should read it, too.

This is not an easy-peasy bash fash story. MC Pammy does bash fash. Violently. Her decision making is questionable. The wolf whelp is unsure of her new reality. Things are not tied up in a bow. You’ll just have to sit with it. As you should

This was such terrific fun!

Nova: ‘It’s gonna be so much flammin’ fun!’

Inspirational transition!

‘I flammin’ knew it! You’re a maiden, babe!’

Unexpected adversaries!

‘I ain’t gonna let these flammin’ jerks win!’

Amazing triumph!

‘You better flammin’ believe it!’

This story is a total blast. And sexy as hell. It is absolutely everything that RJ teases in the description. You should read it!

I really enjoy the Emporia books. Lighthearted, with quirky characters, I love the matching POV narrative style. Also the ‘cozy village monster’ genre. Terrific reads!

I have really enjoyed the Embervein series. Just finished the Ember Bones duology, and loved the characters, esp. MC Grim whose shy interiority and strange magic is totally endearing. I find that I love ‘cozy village monster’ fantasy genre, with a gothic vibe imho. Highly recommended.

I loved this character-driven story. A little magic, a little mystery, a little necromancy, lots of atmosphere. The last quarter was heart-pounding. If the following doesn’t grab you then you just have a cold, dead, heart. Oliver can help with that…

“He was angry. Angry that he was dead. Angry that he was alive.”

A sweet story about rediscovered family, queer high school romance and friendship … and killing all the mercenary bigots who come for you.  Terrific
