What I was saying was that if it were considered erotic or having sexual content, and it wasn't labeled as such, then they could get in trouble with the moderation team. I didn't say that it can't be posted on itch.io .

I agree, besides, i think the game could get more eyes on it if it didn't get slapped with the erotic label. Maybe they just want to be safe and make sure they are following guidelines? I know that game devs might be screwed over if they mislabel their game and it being deemed erotic by someone who just fancies reporting stuff arbitrarily.
