GB Studio has built-in support for .wav files under 3.5 seconds long, so I split each phone call into a series of compressed 3.5-second audio files via Audacity, then have them play in order using an otherwise empty music track that makes script calls every 3.5 seconds.

As of now, I'm the only developer on the main version of the game, though I do have a translator working with me for the upcoming Spanish translation.

A night 1 Foxy jumpscare is rare, but possible, since his AI is activated halfway through the night.  He probably got a lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it...) set of movement opportunities.

Currently, there are no plans to demake any of the sequels, but I do have some future, non-GB/non-FNaF projects in mind.

There's no definitive release date as of yet, since there's still quite a lot to add and tweak.
As for price, the plan is for the full game to be free.  While I've thought of doing a paid physical release, this would require express permission from Scott.

So, as of now, the demo only features three nights, with the next update planned to add night 4.  The beta has a functional version of all 7 nights, however, so the full release (which should hopefully be after the next update) will feature everything from the original game.

What occurs exactly?
Also, are you playing on emulator, web, or console?

It will run on DMG-01, just not quite as well as GBC.
There are some compatibility options in the settings, though.

Just a quick heads up to anyone venturing into the comments section:
It seems scambots have taken residence here, claiming to post "updated versions" of the game.  All updates are on this page and the GameJolt page via devlogs.
I'll remove any scam comments as soon as I'm alerted.

It depends on the emulator used.  In browser, it's:

Z ------------ A

X ------------ B

Enter -------- Start

Shift --------- Select

Arrow keys -- D-pad

I compressed them with Audacity and exported them as a series of 3.5-second .wav files.  In-game, they are a repeating music track that runs through each section of the call.

All the "FMV" sequences are made using tileswaps, with short idles between each frame.

Yes, the version is very unstable, leading to errors and bugs, earlier versions are much more stable, but lack later features.

The TV ghost not restarting is also a bug, I will try to resolve it in the non-game jam release (if there is one).

Have you tried redownloading the program?  It may also be an issue with Gamemaker's instillation tool.
