It's weird that you couldn't access the recycling zone, are you playing within the Itch launcher or on the web (in that case which browser?). Can you see the recycle button in the bottom right corner in the game?
Regarding your comment about the lack of diversity, I totally agree. Our mid-term plan is to implement an adventure mode with different levels player needs to clear to progress. It implies more gameplay and visual diversity of course.
We've tried to make contact with a bunch of NGOs already, with no luck so far. So we've decided to share our work with the world, thinking maybe it would bring such an opportunity. So.. fingers crossed!
