Honestly, this game is really cute! I would love to see a full version of this (since it is pretty short) but I think that you could make this into a like 30 minute game just by adding a few more minigames and stuff!

Just finished playing! It is a really awesome concept and I am super excited to play the full release! A few things that would be good (especially since you are still in development) is firstly to make the room you start in serve a better purpose, it seem like the only thing in the room is the door that leads to the next room. Even if you add a key to one of the beds to unlock the door to the next room it would make it much more interactive. The next room is also pretty bare (once again you are still developing it so I don't blame you). I would recommend having some purpose in that room also (it seems like the entire game is just explore room and leave with nothing really to find in the rooms) the sounds effects are also a bit loud and random, they make for great jumpscares but they are a bit out of place overall. Next, the nurse in the room that chases you is really bugged, if you run into him the game just crashes and you have to start over from the beginning. On top of that the nurse won't even let you into the room, it just blocks the door so you can't even sneak around it or anything. either you should make it so that the nurse only activates once you are fully inside and exploring or b make it so that the nurse doesn't chase you until you pick up an item. As it stands the game is sort of unplayable.

This game was super fun to play! I loved the atmosphere of not knowing what's going to happen! I can't wait till the full game is released!

I absolutely loved this game! I was constantly on the edge the entire time, not very many games have the right balance when it comes to horror and suspense, however, I feel like The Book was the perfect cross between the two. ^-^
