I also thought so at first. But this clarification kinda threw me off:

1. Own work only  All code, art, and music must be created during the jam (or properly credited free assets).

I guess, I'll submit the game anyway, and the organizer is free to remove it/exclude it from the ranking, in case it breaks the rules after all

Congrats on your successful Kickstarter campaign! Absolutely deserved. Gorgeous art, and very nice prose. 

If you don't mind me being a bit nosy, I really took a liking to the characters' names above the dialogue box. Did you design this "scrapbook cut-outs" look from scratch? Or did you use a tool/app of some kind? 

My game fits the theme and the rules of the jam... Quite perfectly, actually. Except that it's a recent, unrelated to the event release. Can I still join in?

So many beautiful entries already. I was gonna join, but you only accept fully completed games :')
