It does, judging by the stop code shown on the videos that cover the unsafe version, the stop code is 0xDEADDEAD, which refers to MANUALLY_INITIATED_CRASH, which means the application forced windows to crash. How does it work? I don't know, i'm not a developer, but there you go.

Dear creator, how the hell does specimen 8 work? It's near impossible to survive because it goes full speedy mode at very random times, even somtimes immediatly when you enter a room so it's pretty rng based to me. (Unless theres some sort of mechanic to survive it???)
