I can tell a lot of thought went into making this. Is it going to get expanded? Here's my thoughts.
First, the spider with the healing ability. I liked that it could heal giving the player a challenge to overcome, but there's no way for player to heal other than at checkpoints. Maybe either making a heal ability, or a potion of some kind for when health runs low in battle could be beneficial. Maybe spacing the checkpoints closer, or if you have to keep it that way due to the map, add more checkpoints in.
Second, loved all the boss fights they were all challenging and cool in their own way.
Third, the music, art, and combat were absolutely amazing and very well done those time events for those attacks were really cool (except the flea that little guy was annoying lol).
For a short game the story was good, but id love to see this expanded. Had alot of fun playtesting this, and would play it again and recommend to others as well. Great way of iterating something old, to make it new again! congrats on such a great job team! Here is my video playthroughs.
Hey guys I just wanted to let you know I play tested your game! This game looks like a lot of fun, unfortunately i had troubles moving throughout the map kept getting lost and also when i went to quit there was no save option. I think having a save option especially for a game like this is absolutely crucial so when i come back i can pick up from where I left off. Hello team, game has an interesting concept! However, I'm not sure if it's because I wasn't using a regular mouse, but I couldn't get past the initial startup in the main level. I did walk around a bit and the concept seems interesting I could try it again if maybe I understood what to do a little bit better. Here is my playtest for clarification.

Hey you guys, spent time playtesting your game for about 20-25 minutes. Some of the Ui stuff wasn't working properly. Also, during the game, I didn't happen to run into enemies at any point. The guns weren't working properly. There were quite a few bugs, but I'd be happy to try again with more information. Hey team, thanks for posting this for people to play! As I was going through, I noticed a few things.
First, as you go through the level when the player interacts with the npcs their messages come on and off the screen so fast sometimes you have to restart to get the whole message. Maybe having an interact with a button to acknowledge what they said could be good, or a longer delay depending on which one is better. Second, I got stuck a few times throughout at times you'll see that in my video. Having a revert to last checkpoint might be helpful so that way the player doesn't have to restart from the main menu if something goes wrong. In the menus, sometimes when you open it you had to click back into it for the mouse to appear again a minor fix that shouldn't take long to get worked out.
Lastly, I want to say I really did look forward to playing this prior to, and the game was fun but has minor improvements that need to be made to see the full potential. I do really like the goal you're aiming for keep at it!

Hey team this game is pretty awesome I'll admit! A few minor things to change such as the game name was in the splash screen instead of the main menu. In the game the enemies were pretty balanced but sometimes I felt overwhelmed, and you'll see that in the playthrough. Ultimately though I had fun, and only got through the tutorial and level 1, so will play another stream with the other levels in the future. Here is my playtest video.

Due to not being able to interact with stuff I wasn't able to get too far, but from what I did play the gunplay, and the pickups was pretty smooth so far and loved the menus! Hey team, Hope you all are doing good! I did a playtest of your game and had some struggles trying to figure out a few things. When I left my body in the beginning, I wasn't sure how to get back to my main body. When I got back to my main body I couldn't find my way forward. What was the main goal? It just was really confusing. The game Ui was pretty awesome though and if I could figure out how to maneuver around in ghost mode and what not, it'd be worth playing again. Here's my playtest.

Since I did play 15 mins, I ended the game and there was no save game option, or load game option. Good morning! Hey team just wanted to let you know I did a playtest of your game. The concept idea is fun, I just don't think I understand what I'm supposed to be doing exactly. When I use the laser to "kill" the ghost, and it disappears am I supposed to trap it? If so, is there a way in the UI you guys can reflect that? If not, then is it just to destroy them? I think it would be clearer if you had a "ghosts killed - number" or "ghosts trapped - number" to give an idea what the player should be doing. Also, I didn't see a laser ammo count, or laser cooldown meter to reflect how long a player can use the laser for. Is that what the sound effects indicated because I wasn't sure. Is there a way to bring the fear meter down once you get away from the ghosts? At one point, I got a pretty high amount on the fear meter, but it didn't go down little by little when I had gotten away. Here is the playthrough hope you all enjoy it.

Hey guys, just wanted to mention I took time and playtested this final build. There were a few issues like the interact not seeming to work right when I pressed a button, or everything was in slow motion. (I tried in other games to make sure my pc wasn't running slow). So, with that if we can get the slow motion to be regular speed, and the interact to work properly it'll probably help with getting those first few quests done. The game from what I've played seems ok, but I don't think I got far enough to give a definitive stance on how the playability was. Here is the video for reference.

Hey guys, playtested this game probably a few months ago but just uploaded the video (as I'm not the proudest of it I was terrible at the game). The rough thing for me was not really being able to get out of the blocks in the beginning (probably cause I'm not as pc savvy). However, I do want to mention I liked the design of the interactables for the menu instead of "having a menu" which was different. Hey guys, first here on the page the writing headers are orange (you might want to switch that to be more legible). Next, I playtested your game, and it was definitely fun! What I do really like is every time I respawned it was in a different arena. The part that I didn't understand was where weapons said Level 1 and Level 2 but didn't see anything for level ups in the UI in the game. Can you guys take me through that? It's pretty fun in my first stream I got through a level and a half and still plan on going back in another stream and finishing later. My main concern was the graphics not being able to switch the setting without it crashing. Other than that, if I play this on low graphic settings everything is a lot of fun and works great! Hello Team, congrats on graduation! This is one of the games I looked forward to playing the most when I saw the trailer in the capstone server. First, it's a really fun game, I didn't beat it all in one go but if you'd like the first part, I can always post the video! Also, there was something that went wrong with the lightning ability. If I interacted with it, it didn't let me resume play. After trying this a few times, I decided to try and jump over it to continue which worked fine. But I'm sure you guys would like to know if you still want this to be accessible to get a fix going on that. I'll let you guys know my thoughts on levels 3 and 4 once I play those. I love that each character has their own abilities. Here was my outline and ill post a video later for reference if needed.
First - I played through the game twice with the main character. Found both "rescuable characters" but thought I needed a key to save them vs just pressing E to interact with them in their cages.
Second - After saving both characters in playthrough 2, used the Witch first in playthrough 3. The special ability was cool but didn't feel like it did much in comparison to the main first character. Thought the jump height was more to be able to get back up top, but no luck. Also thought her mage power would be able to reach the button for the door but didn't work.
Third - In the 4th and Final playthrough for this test I played as the Spartan. The main problem with this character was it didn't feel like the javelin throw was working properly as id be aiming in front of me and the javelin would throw behind me when I hit the special button. Again, thought maybe could use the javelin to hit the button for the last door that was closed but no luck.
Hello team first of all I wanted to say I downloaded and playtested your game! The game was amazing and even after playing one stream worth for 30 minutes I found it so awesome it left me wanting more. Played the game and a few things I noticed.
First, On the loading screen before entry into level 1 some of the words were cut off on the screen and wasn't legible.
Second, when I played the game in level 1 and 2, I noticed that jump with the up-arrow key doesn't work properly.
Third, I noticed in level 2 that when the snakes pushed me back, I went off the level screen to the left side (pushed off the actual map but didn't reset.)
Hello! I just wanted to mention first off how intrigued by the trailer I was before I launched the game. Second, I did download it, and I have video feedback. Let me know if I can post if so, I will in another comment. Lastly here are my thoughts on the current iteration from earlier today that I played. The menus are amazing! I liked the transition and loved how the theme of the menus met the theme of the game which was well executed so great job! Next, in the game during the tutorial the things you'd come across the text would tell the player some stuff, but you'd sometimes miss it? My suggestion on a fix for this instead of being a physical item in the world popping up, maybe adding an invisible collision that has a pop-up widget text that pops up when player enters the area, so it gets their attention. As far as the defenses go, I'm not sure if it's just my laptop running slow or there was just a lot of things going on in the game but had trouble with the sensitivity issues. If I'm allowed to post the video feedback hopefully it'd give you better answers on this. Overall though I had a lot of fun playing your game! Also intend on playing it more once I can get the hang of it thanks for uploading to try it out!
Hello, wanted to mention my daughter and myself are playing this game. It's quite interesting but seems a bit confusing sometimes. I love the gameplay the colors and the way to level up, I think.
Bug fixes: One thing I did see is when we tried to figure out air dash it wasn't listed in the controls screen. This needs a fix. If you can the main menu having back buttons on every screen would be helpful also instead of clicking another main menu button to open another screen.
Player experience: As for this, we had fun and plan on continuing our play of the game. As we make progress, we will post some videos if you wish and will give any feedback, we see that needs a fix.

After watching this trailer I'm thrilled to check out the full game! Saw this trailer in the Collaboration group on discord. This month I'm finalizing my game product and will either be here or on steam! Can't wait to see what this one is all about.
