You're welcome!~
I shall try my best to make a game project. i have ideas just not sure where to start.
i wish you had more Co-op games, i want to play MORE!~

i think once i figure out some main characters for my game is when i can start creating stuff. because then i can start animation, which character animations are super important for gameplay and interacting with the environment.

i really like your diner gameplay, my sister said a diner game would be so cool like what you have made, but more fleshed out with more random and strange guests.

i am starting to notice this becoming a trend in horror games lately where you play as an employee at a store, and weird stuff starts to happen. Chillaz Art seems to have a lot of games like that, you however seem to be the only one creating split screen multiplayer, with 3rd person. which is the kind of style i would like to do.

i have played around with horror engine template, but i don't like how its single player and first person. Love the Polaroid camera it has though i feel like that would be a cool option in a 3rd person game, being able to take photos and stuff would be cool.

Games have so much potential, and i feel like the indie horror genre needs a kick in the butt with new innovative ideas. i think co-op is a good step into a new direction of indie horror.

Okay!~ thanks,

i don't know if ill make something for the game jam or not but id like to stay in contact just incase i do need help with future projects.

if you have Discord feel free to add me: kandybrainz

Would be interesting to speak with someone who knows more about music then i do,

i will probably just attempt a project myself, i am sure it couldn't be too Difficult, will probably be visual novel/heavily story based. with simple game play, so most the work will be in the story, animations, atmosphere, sound design.

Since this is a Queer Horror game jam,  Story wise i'm almost  considering using some real world experiences, for inspiration. Lean into a psychological horror direction. with elements from the grief of a relationship breakup.

Back in 2019 i seperated from a 6 year long relationship, And he destroyed all the passion i had for my creativity constantly telling me i wont get anywhere with them, and since the relationship had ended i was struggling getting back into my creativity and everything i was passionate about was almost haunted by his words, and his presence, like a parasite that stayed around even after he'd gone,

i think people really underestimate what horror could be. i think grief is one of the realest horror experiences we have.

I have ideas on how this could translate into a horror game, just would mostly be story/narrative driven. basically haunted by a ghost of an ex lover, could either end up shit or good i dunno.

Oh and ive been using Bandlabs to try make my own stuff, been experimenting with Locrian notes, most music ive made myself ends up sounding.. errie, distorted and creates an uncomfortable feeling.

Perhaps!~ depends if your still associated with them i guess,
But yeh that Folding song omg , sounds really cool.
you have a very skilled way of capturing mood/feeling and atmosphere in songs,

I'm not entirely sure if ill be entering the game jam or not, i've not really made a game on my own, but your music/song style has a lot of potential and would work well for some ideas i have for game projects. (i just dunno if i can make a game AAAH) i've got 3D modeling/animation experience. but not really any experience with coding.

as for music experience, i've written a lot of lyrics but cant really sing or make it into something myself. (i have experimented with ai music just to see how my lyrics could sound but yeh not exactly impressive lmao people hate ai stuff.) and i don't i could use ai stuff for the game jam.

i really enjoy that "Folding" video you have on youtube, the vocals are awesome!~ also surprised you don't mention your work in Sydonia in this post.

Love your tracks Dana!~ its a cool style

Well you've done amazing on this game so far!~ its quite inspiring what you've Created, even with the issues we had, having to start over, it was A lot of fun, I feel player 2 might need more activities to do, or perhaps have the quests so they can be shared between them, and dialogue that can give the player the option to who does what task.

I've been wanting to create a game myself, so seeing a co-op horror game similar to what id want to make is amazing!~ i haven't got much experience with unreal engine, i only know 3D modeling and animations, so trying to make a game myself feels like a daunting task!~ But i hope to one day start a game. (i have A lot of game/story ideas, just don't know where to start with UE5) i do have CC4 which id love to use for character, and make custom assets for it. (which it would seem you are using CC4 ) which is cool to see.

I played this in Co-op Mode with my Sister!~ it was a really cute game, i love the split screen option!~ there's not many local co-op horror games like this so it's really good to see.

I enjoyed the diner scene, animations are nice, character dynamic between the two characters is really cool, i enjoyed the witty humour and banter between the two main characters.

we did have a few bugs that caused us to have to restart:

- one main bug is that dialogue options can be selected by both players controllers, making it cause issues of accidently selecting the wrong dialogue because my sister was cleaning something while i was trying to talk do dialogue so it caused her to accidently select for me or scroll up and down on her controller.

- there was a bug where i wasn't able to interact with anything, with A (however that may just be an issue with my controller)

- my sisters character, was unable to walk at all once we got to the mop and bucket scene.

- Sewer system caused really bad framerate for me, could barely play some areas of the sewer due to extreme spikes in framerate, so something down there is causing lag/is poorly optimized.

Overall story was interesting However i feel the story could be improved, the Diner scene i think is done really well, however the zombies/creatures in the sewer felt a bit out of place? as the start of the game felt like it was setting us up for a murder mystery, with the secret mysterious basement and missing girl.

However it was still super interesting, Keep up the good work!~ and i look forward to seeing the finished product, and where the game goes.
