Saw your comment in Discord, decided to try this out. You did quite well! I do wish I Iived a little longer, or maybe if there was a food item here and there. But the graphics are great ... sort of an old-style Zelda/Gauntlet feel to it. I love the music, and the way you show the controls at the beginning is brilliant (I hope you'll pardon me ... I took a screenshot and will likely incorporate that method into my game).
