To improve:
1. Put markings or arrows where the players should go next because it was confusing.
2. Put instruction for controls like the W-A-S-D

I like the concept of the game (very interesting) but I also won by spamming "1".
how to improve:
1. put icons to visually identify and assist which one is the democrat party or the republican party - as someone who gets confused between the two, I had to search which party Trump belongs to </3
2. maybe you could try using buttons to prevent the users from spamming
