Very well polished for such a short time. Well-designed game page.

I was into this. Good job on the minimal thumbnail. It made me click. A few more levels and it'd feel a bit more complete. Nice!

Sick soundtrack!

Cool concept. I had a tough time grasping what was happening. Perhaps it would helped to have a graphic/ tutorial visualizing what's happening. Or maybe my brain just can't handle it haha! I'll try again if someone can describe it to me.

Trippy background - a very strange place indeed. I got "test test" when I think I beat the level. One tiny thing that could have a big impact to the feel is turning on camera smoothing. Overall cool build.

Wow, the atmosphere for this game was really awesome! The platforming got really challenging very quickly, but I did enjoy the challenge. The art had a nice feel to it, and I think it paired well with the gameplay and mood of the game. Great work!

Really like the art style. It looks like you worked quite hard on polishing the gameplay. My older eyes couldn't read the small card text very well even in full screen, perhaps the text could be in front of the overlay, or be a bit bigger? I'm excited to see what this one becomes. Nice work.

The them was nicely polished and camera movement was so smooth. Unfortunately my browser crashed. I'll try again later.

Thank you for writing the instructions in a satisfying format. Game worked very smoothly and every section had a nice balance of being achievable but giving satisfaction of having completed something difficult. Would have loved a background but that didn't really take away from the fun.

I don't know why but I was kind of into this.

I like that idea also!

Cool! Just had an idea if you do - could the tiniest fractal in the last level be the first biggest fractal in the next level? So when you complete a level it zooms up on that fractal as the starting point? This might mess with your puzzle design but could be super slick if it could be pulled off.

The dark ambience felt unique. If the background music was a bit quieter it might have captured me in the space a bit better. Overall I like the direction you took and would like to see this expanded out.

I'm impressed that you got all these puzzles to work in a short amount of time. They were just challenging enough to keep me engaged. I'd play more levels of this.

Those satisfying keyboard clicks! You put a lot of thought into the ambiance. Loved it.

There was just the right amount of fresh puzzles to keep me engaged and not be too challenging. Game ran smoothly and I like how fast I can scroll through the text. Dialogue was a cute little spicy addition as well.

Nice work putting your game out there. Good game base.

I'll never see a rat the same way again!

Very impressive game design given the time limit. Art is clean and has a consistent palette. Took me a quick bit to figure out the battle sequence but eventually figured it out. Some quick tooltips might help. Overall nice work.

Nice game! I kept pressing space to try releasing the hook then kept forgetting I was supposed to click. Cute kitchen.

Great witty writing and art. The chaotic bus schedule poster was definitely my favorite part. I particularly enjoyed how fast it was to move from room to room and to not need to read so much text - many of these types of games can be a trudge and you made it fun! I'd love to play the future version of this game.

I caught all the fish.

The music is fitting for such a sad state of affairs for this fish.

Appreciate that you made a video to provide feedback. It's informative watching you play and react in the moment. Thanks again.

This game had an insane amount of polish for such a short time-frame. Art style is consistent and music is easy on the ears. When the camera warped to each captured location to show the resource gains each round it felt a bit jarring. Might feel more orienting to have the camera slide over to each location. I'd like to play the future version of this.

I still don't quite understand the rules but had so much fun not understanding it. You did a good job creating a sense of urgency that wasn't stressful. Love when a simple idea can be so much fun.

I tried a few times but game froze for me when bumping into the first box. Happy to come try again later.

For some reason this reminded me of Chip's Challenge which was very nostalgic. I definitely found it challenging but not overly-so which made for a feeling of satisfaction when beating a level. Great music and minimalistic art style as well which I personally usually prefer for puzzle games.

Great art style and theme. It's simple and engaging.

Graphics and audio are definitely among the best I've seen in this jam. It's intentional and consistent. I was getting some fuzzy audio issues but didn't mind too much. The gameplay took a while to catch onto but that's likely my fault for not reading the instructions. Slightly bigger text would be nice too in case someone doesn't know to full-screen the game. Overall nice work!

(1 edit)

Really nice theme that matches the game jam them quite nicely. I'm impressed with the amount of art you've created in such a short amount of time. It might be nice to quickly alter the current environment to quickly create a new goober rather than restart from scratch. It's cute and cozy.

I can appreciate the thought put into the theme and it sounds nice. Pretty sure I'm supposed to be able to turn around but I can't.

Game didn't load for me.

Nice first submission! It looks like you put a ton of work into this. I really enjoyed the cozy music and the main character was cute. I'd suggest increasing the window size (you can do this in itch), and keep the sprite sizes consistent scales. Good job!

Nice little solo project.
