Hello! I came across this game through the Itch randomizer! You have a somewhat addictive game loop here - very similar to flappy bird, but with novel twist. On my second run, I was basically able to gain more flaps than required to move up - I reached about 50 points with a surplass of ~40 flaps and that number was just going up.
If you were interested in expanding on this game - you might be able to create some interesting challenges with hand crafted levels. Place the flaps, place obstacles and hazards - keep the same control scheme. You might end up with a simple flappy bird inspired version of something like the gameplay of Neon White.

Anyway, I know this was your first game, and you've released two more since - but don't talk down about yourself! Just explain your game and what you were hoping to achieve/learn and let people decide if they want to play it and or give feedback :)

I would suggest removing the AI generated description - it only serves to 1. add ick to your project and 2. mis-align expectations.

It talks about captivating visuals and endless exploration - which is not true. It is OK for your small game to be what it is.

Outside of that, I think it's very well presented. Wishing you success in your future game development.

Played another round and collected all times. It was still engaging the second time around. Again, the atmosphere was good. I found the SFX of collecting an item to be a little too loud, and it playing again when examining already collected items was a little annoying. I also wish there was a proper fullscreen option easily accessible - but i understand this was a gamejam game. I still really like the concept of navigating a maze to uncover elements of a dream, or memory. Would be cool to see this idea expanded on. Thanks for the game.

Hi! I found this through this Itch Randomiser.

Cool concept! I enjoyed the mechanism of exploring a maze to uncover the image to the right to find narrative beats.

I did just one run before leaving this comment, and will likely do another couple of runs to see if I can fully explore the images and find all the items and notes.

I especially liked:
The atmosphere. The ambient audio, footsteps, whispers, sounds coming and going as I moved around. It was cool.
It reminded me of both Silent Hill and perhaps.. Eternal Darkness.

Something I would have liked to see is a bit more downtime/pause between levels - leaving me on a black screen for even only a few seconds would have helped build anticipation and helped with pacing, i think. There didnt feel like much if any release in the tension, it was on from the start and didnt relax.

The whole time I was anticipating a jump scare - I think because it's common with itch indie horror games. I am not convinced you dont have something like that in the game - especially with the other noises I can hear while exploring.

I will report back after another play or two.

Nice project - This was the first one that grabbed my attention after about 10 random games that weren't really games or were not engaging. Well done.

This was very cool! nicely done. I found 10 of 15 objects and will likely go in for a second run. Though I had not found any extra clues to point me in any particular direction I hadn't already explored - Might need to look a little harder :)

The audio work was great, and your scripted sequences were done very well.

Love the Blair Witch inspiration and references.

This is cool! I love the aesthetic.

There is a bug where if you are caught hacking with no-clip enabled, on hitting Restart - the game is frozen.

Thanks for your feedback Geckoo! Muchly appreciated. The project mostly served as an excuse to play around with Unity engine! I've been working on an updated version of the game with some other things. Ill post it here soon enough :)
