It must be a lot of work, writing a book is difficult enough, let alone an interactive book full of branching paths. Take all the time you need. I'm the one who should thank you for creating this story :) 

The rewrite turned out great. I tried both the escape route and the ceremony, and i liked the escape route better because it felt more tense and exciting. It also made more sense for the MC to want to take control of their own life.
