Really fun game! If you ever continue that'd be awesome, this kind of puzzle game is right up my alley.

I'm currently in the middle of rewriting the whole game, system, and mechanics. I'll be aiming for a Steam release, which will be a long time into the future. Which is why it's great that I've gotten feedback now to know what to look out for. I've had some time to think over how the game works; and the change is going to be quite heavy; which is why a total rewrite of everything will be necessary.
Thank you for the comment, I apologize for whatever bugs you may have encountered :D
I really enjoyed this, getting to make my own choices while a lovely piece of music plays. I've seen a lot of story games, but this one was quite interesting; also because of the speed of it. It's an enjoyable little story telling game, with lots of fast choices; and potential consequences. Well done!
Okay, this one is actually really satisfying and fun to play. You got the bullet speed totally right; and I love that you added the bullet trail as well. It also just runs well, so smooth. Regarding the graphics, they're simple but honestly that's the best way, since it feels better for my eyes when running around. Great game! I was surprised to see several upgrade choices after the first level. Such a charming game!
I unfortunately had to put "happiness" into known bugs since I didn't have time to add the mechanic for that, as well as the ending screen being bugged; I feel bad for the people thinking they failed the objective even though they didn't. I'll probably continue developing this game, and turn it around big time; the timer and main idea was mostly to fit the theme of the Game jam. Glad you figured it out, since I should've probably included instructions in the game. Happy that you found it charming, and thank you for dropping a comment :D
This is honestly one of the best games I've played this jam. I love the atmosphere, the graphics, the puzzles, it really was fun spent a lot of time getting through the levels. This was actually really enjoyable. Love the boss fights as well. I managed to get past the micro second glitch at level 2. Really well thought out game, very good! :D
Not the intention to confuse no, but I very much see what you're saying. It's currently on the top of the to do list, the timer was for the jam theme, but will be removed in the future for a better fit and less stressful mechanic. I originally wanted visual indicators, but time was nearing. I did publish a day before the jam ended, but I was afraid of not making it in time if I introduced new bugs the day before. It'll definitely happen in the future, every kind of feedback I get is incredibly appreciated since it'll help shape the game in the future. Thank you so much! :D (Ohhh, I didn't think about the downloadable part, whoops! Imma' do that after the voting period is done)
In the future I'd like to make things a lot clearer, but with the time given this was what I could manage for now.
There's a lot of thing I've noted down, so a lot of things will change in future versions. Knowing a lot of people have a problem with confusion about my game definitely means that I've got some work to do; so thank you a lot for the feedback, it really helps a lot knowing where I need to put my focus in the future! :D
I've always been a huge fan of these types of 'puzzle' games, reminds me of the Pokémon Ruby gym leader. You implemented that really well, and I love the overall idea and thought behind it. The graphics are charming, and seems like a solid game. Is the sword bugged? Sometimes it doesn't activate for me.
-Well done, keep on jammin'!
This is such a sweet game. The intro had me loving the charm of it. Are you usually an animator or something like that? This feels like the kind of soul old ps1 games had, and I love it. Reminds me of the old crash bandicoot games a bit. The music isn't too intruding, very simple but fits well. Overall really sweet game with soul.
Thank you, I definitely tried to polish it as much as possible before the deadline. In the future I'd like to change the mechanics a lot, to make it more replay-able, and fun. I want to make it feel more like a real roguelike. Hopefully people will give more feedback once the game jam reaches the deadline.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment, it boosts my motivation! :D
This is my first game jam; so I was wondering this.
Normally when people install a demo I've made in Unity, the file gives a false warning about unknown publisher (I know that normally when publishing to Steam, they will handle that part).
But this is my first time using itch.io, and thought I'd quickly make sure how this works in good time, before the submission deadline gets too close.
-So to be more specific about my question:
Will I have a problem with fake "potential virus"/"unknown publisher" showing up when publishing to itch.io?
