i made an itchio account so that i could freak out in the utmost admiration and affection of your precious hard work and journey creating this game in the comments!! i love visual novels, my girlfriend and i have recently gotten into P5R this year and i have rapidly become a big shuakeshu"head" so to speak. i can't heap enough praise onto this game sincerely; without spoiling anything, i want to gush about basically everything lol...
the music choice was so ambiently perfect; it really felt like i was in a fucked up good dream the whole time. i'm someone who loves a "merry bad end" so i really enjoyed getting a lot of different endings too and feeling them out! your writing was really quite lovely and immersive and tender and i felt your love for these characters and the story you're telling with them both. the characterization of akechi especially felt so loyal to his core, and for him getting to lead this narrative i felt so tender about it. i loved your ren too, the twists and turns completely got my ass in the best way!
i loved the dialogue box textures, the fonts, your artwork is COMPLETELY gorgeous and SO sweet - and i just can't pour enough love here honestly! i had a blast and it fulfilled me in a way that helped having to say goodbye to my first finished file of P5R lol, like i got some continuity that soothed me so much. i adored how thoughtful everything was at every turn and you conveyed the bittersweetness, the heaviness, the loneliness, and the heartache and depths of love so earnestly. this game is a masterpiece and nothing shy of art!!! thank you so much for what you put into this and for sharing it. <3
