Did a few runs of this.  Not bad as a minigame goes, decent premise, fair execution of the idea.  A few jokes, and a bit of challenge.

Some more in-depth observations:

The clock misleads you early on until you realize that it’s ticking 5 minutes every second, then it’s actually rather frightening.

It’s a nice music pick.

The game doesn’t tell you that you have to click the pins on the map to leave the house, and on my first run that meant I wasted the first day.

Also, some calls don’t lead to jobs and just have fake (un-selectable) pins.  It’s a neat wrinkle, but also a first time trap.  I’m not sure how it works though.  At first I thought it was specifically calls that weren’t actually asking about snowing shovelling, but on the third run it changed up and now I wonder if it’s random?  By fourth run, I’m thinking it may be certain houses?

On the second attempt I had a call just as I finished the papers, and it wouldn’t let me exit the paper minigame.  It happened again on the third attempt, but it was just in the middle of me stamping.

Fourth Attempt I got fired because I didn’t have enough time to finish the papers.  I’m not sure how that led to a bad ending when he wasn’t getting paid anyway . . .

Not sure how to feel about it overall, you are successfully portraying a tedious and unfair situation, but I’m not sure if I can actually say I’m having fun with it.

A short and fun little game. One of those "I wish it were longer and that's a good thing" games.  I think everything came together quite well to make something worked very smoothly.

A couple little things that might be worth mentioning.  I felt like the grapple hook seemed a little underwhelming (until started trying to use it at an angle), since a lot of spaces where I wanted to use it, it seemed to be too short. Not sure if either part of that was the intent.

The melee also seemed generally inferior to the ranged attack, but I'm also not sure if that was the intent.

Thanks very much for playing.

Thank you for giving it a try!

Huh, I hadn't thought Counter would have been that apealling to spam (unless you were low on health) but I guess it was.  I probably should have made them cost more TP.

I guess I hadn't noticed the bug, thanks for telling me.

Thank you very much for trying the game, and the compliments.
I see what you mean about the rooms in hindsight, the maps were one of the first things I did and when I realized it wasn't time-efficient to put more into them it was much later.
Trying to make somewhat funny/interesting writing was one of my main goals here, the second to test a combat idea that clearly takes some inspiration from fighting games.

Watching the video, I realize I should have made it clear that Carol would be healed between battles, and that healing otherwise would not be in the game . . .

Still, thanks again, very much.
