Thank you! I tried out your game and it is very cool and challenging. :D

It's all hand-drawn on paper with Sharpie and I would then take pictures of the drawings and modify them digitally to extract the outlines, add colour, animate, etc. The digital modifications were all done in paint.net (a free image editor). Here's an example of one of the drawings before being scanned in. :)

I drew it.

Thanks for playing and the feedback! I'm not planning on updating this particular version of the game but a fully-featured version is in the works, which should hopefully be on Steam and other platforms.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed! Some of the ideas you mentioned are already things I'm toying around with for the full version of the game, so you can expect to see them in one form or another. :)

Thanks for playing, guys! Updates for the game jam version aren't planned, but I am working on a more fleshed out version of the game to release in the future. :)

Thanks! I'm in the process of working on a full version, for Steam and other platforms.

Thanks, I'm currently working on a full version.

Sorry to hear, do you get an error popup at all with any extra information to go off of?

The downloaded file is a Zip which contains the game's content inside, it needs to be unzipped so you can access it. You should be able to do this by right-clicking on the file and selecting Extract All. Hope that helps!

What is the full error message that appears?

The web version or the desktop version?

Thanks! The game does get quite tedious/easy at the end. The balancing isn't the best but I'm hoping to address it in the full release.

Thanks for playing, cool garden!

Thanks for playing and the feedback, I'm glad you had a good time (and good ear, some of the music is actually by Waterflame)! :D

I don't have a planned release date, I'm just working on the game whenever I have the free time to. Hopefully it'll be sometime this year, but we'll see!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed! :)

Yeah I did all the art for the game. :)

I'm working on a full version that will be ported to mobile.

The game doesn't work on mobile, it needs to be played on a desktop.

No the game was just designed to be played in a single sitting until game over.

Thanks! I'm currently working on a full version. :)

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! What browser and operating system are you running on? I'll try see if I can reproduce and fix the fullscreen issue.

I draw all the art by hand with pencil and then go over it in Sharpie. I then upload photos of the drawings and digitally modify them to get the clean lines, add colour, animation, etc.

The game is not supported on mobile so I wouldn't expect it to work properly.

Yeah, I'm currently working on a full version of the game. :)

Names of the tracks are all listed on the Credits screen, it's all free-to-use music from Newgrounds. Some of the tracks are by Waterflame who did some music for Castle Crashers, so they might have a similar sound/style.

Thanks, yeah I've seen the video, I noticed a big spike in players when it came out! It's not my first game, the jam name makes that a bit confusing, but the rules allow people who have made games before to still submit. I've been making games for years, but this is definitely my best / most successful project. :)

Thanks for the comment and feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game (and nice setup)!

I have been thinking about expanding it with more content and quality of life improvements, this version was made for a 2 week long jam so a lot of ideas I had never made it into the game (including some of the things you suggested). Maybe I'll get around to working on it sometime soon. :)

Thanks for the feedback!

I think you won...

Thanks!

Thank you! Hopefully you can submit something for the next jam. :)

Cute game with a nice little story! It was quite relaxing and I enjoyed it a lot, especially how your stats would improve as you grew into a flower. :)

Nice one, good job on making your first game! The music is also really nice. I got both the endings. :)

Thank you!

Thanks for playing!

To make the art I do the initial outlines on paper using Sharpie as I find it easier to get the look I want, rather than drawing digitally. I then take a photo of it on my phone and upload to my PC where I extract the line art, downscale it to the right size, and clean it up a bit. Finally, I add all the finishing touches like colour, shading, animation frames, etc. all digitally. :)

Thanks! Well done getting all the unlocks. :)

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
