Fun

Death needs to restart per level, restarting the whole game is a lot of work.

Other than that, great game! :)

I was able to get 40.5 torque on Level 9,  2187 Torque on Level 10, And 243 Torque on Level 11.

Level 12 was a fun solution, had me for a while but works so well once you work out the idea. Honestly the most fun I had in a cog wheel puzzle game.

That level needs several vertical layers to get the torque high enough.

I ended up giving 40.5 torque on that level when it needed 7.5 XD

Stacking the pillars all the way to the ceiling soft locks it, and sometimes you can place invalid cogs when moving around when placing cogs. As well sometimes they feel like they should connect but don't. Also syncing the animation between all the cogs would be really nice.

But also for anyone who placed an out of reach pillar, you can remove pillars above large cogs if you move back far enough.

It's just very difficult to place cogs down when moving along the grid :(

You have to click in place, do not drag where you want.

It's a little hard to see, but there are black platforms that you have to jump onto to get past the monsters. It's one of my very first gamejam projects, but I agree that this was executed poorly.

Hey, sorry to hear that. Does this happen still when you replay the game? If so, what browser do you use and your computer specs? I recommend trying to use different browsers, such as Firefox. If this issues continues, I can make a free download for the game available for windows on the game page.

The camera is just following the player, the player smooths when slowing down and speeding up.

It's a fun short story game.

Thanks! I'm looking back at it now, I went ahead and added the full-screen button inside the level.

I made a dungeon platformer games using itch.io free assets. This key was exactly what I needed but all of these are a nice set for pixel RPG's.

I made a dungeon platformer games using itch.io free assets.  I just used the skull but there is a wide range of  useful icons, definitely going to save this for later too

I made a dungeon platformer games using itch.io free assets, I just used the knight that was free, but he fit the player role well.

Actually, the whole art style really fit together for this, I'll probably buy the Allcharacters pack later.

Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking.

The tileset looks great though!

Cute froggy!

Flowlab doesn't support Linux, I would try using other web browsers like Chrome and Firefox but still isn't guaranteed with the Linux OS.

It's a newer behavior that was added last month.

You may need an indie account to use the new behavior.

Thanks dude, I'm glade to a least give my first attempt at the GMTK Jam

Thanks, it was a quick attempt for the "Out of Control" theme. Glad you like the game!

Thanks for the feedback!

The game was made last minute, even for this Jam's Stander. I was having the same feeling as I was finishing up the last 30 minutes, I should've added more than just the discovery and replayability I was going for.

Yeah, I would've like to add more levels and content. Maybe next year I wont Juggle between 2 Jams 😅

Thank you, I'm glad you like it!

Thanks for the feedback, I'll make a note for next time

Glad you liked it!

Dont worry, I reviewed your game too before the Jam ended . 😅

Thanks for the feedback, I was going for Replay and Discovery

Thanks! ✌

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you, I wish I had more time for developing the levels and more content.

Thanks! I was hoping Adjustments and Discovery would make the game "Out of Control".

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks to everyone who tried and reviewed the game!

I made the game last minute (on the last day) to try my first year at GMTK Jam... at the same time of already in the process of another Jam that was for 2 weeks. The 2 week Jam was for the small game engine I use. If you see this, I would love your feedback to the game I list below. The game is called Escape the Rewind, and I'll probably add it in itch.io after voting is done with it. Thank you & Have a great day!

Ok, that was clever.

Having a window scroll with the game view + using arrow keys for player controls created a fun challenge.
