I really liked the tone of the horror, also. It was fun reading Abigail's narration going from horror to feeling pride in her new body. Did not predict Adam getting eaten, but I probably should have seen it coming.

This was a neat little story. I really liked the art and the music and the tension of the situation and the ambiguity of Egaeus's motives. Egaeus reacting differently to you giving either her name or Berenice's at the start was a nice touch.
this is really beautiful. wonderfully conveys the burden of nostalgia for a time and a place you can't go back to and longing for people who will never return. incredible stuff
