i don’t really know what to say. I just sort of feel like I get it. all the tingling, the unwanted sensation, the creeping feeling of the slow violence of climate change that I don’t even fucking know how to express and so I don’t even try anymore, and then despite all that you have to try to actually live with and deal with the only people you have left to offer you any shelter from the world. sometimes they’re nice. sometimes they’re not. sometimes there’s conditions you just have to live with and you just have to hope you don’t fuck it up and that you don’t accidentally break something you weren’t supposed to break and fuck it up even more and why are you even here. why don’t you even think about why you’re here anymore. I don’t know. I just hope we’re okay.

i dunno. it’s been a long week for me. but this was really beautiful. thank you for sharing

I was a lot less worried about Han-byeol’s inclusion than everyone else but I did want to be respectful of everyone else’s worries. How extreme the content could or should get was a big point of conflict generally. I feel like a big part of the tension between me and kirin was that they wanted the story to be more focused on the Korean diaspora experience whereas I had wanted to have it indulge in the taboo subject matter more, and they didn’t feel those two could be compatible. I was sure it was possible for the two to coexist, but I don’t think we would have been able to thread that needle without Ophelia’s help.

Thanks for your comments! I’m really glad you appreciated how thorough the postmortem was. it took a lot of time aaaaaaaa

wow, that was really something. I’d like to give Lori a headpat and a bowl of soup

hi thank you for being the first hate comment. you have made my day <3

thank you so much for all your thoughts and kind words about the game! It’s really gratifying to hear that it hit so hard. I also hope Ga-yeong molests Jenny forever <3

hello. I’m very high as of typing this comment. I don’t know what exactly happened here, but the two things I can say for certain are that it was quite fun, and had an excellent frog!

this is incredibly cheesy in the best way

Thank you so much!! and yes i agree, nothing is ever going to go wrong after that and everyone will have such a nice time and Han-byeol will never do anything bad ever again :)

Thank you very much for the kind words! (and also the bug report aaaaaaaaaa I’ll see what I can do about that)

Thank you very much for playing!

Hi, thanks so much for making this! I used this for a game that I programmed, and I have a question. I made an Android port for the game, and the tooltips work, but in order to keep them visible on a touchscreen, you have to hold down your finger on them the entire time, since it’s still expecting a mouse pointer. This is cumbersome, so I’m wondering if perhaps it’s possible to change the behavior of the tooltips so that if the game is being played on a touchscreen, rather than the words needing to be hovered, they can be toggled by simply tapping the words, and stay on the screen indefinitely until the player taps elsewhere to dismiss them?

Thank you! and yes Ga-yeong is just so good I agree

spoiler she may have made some mistakes but can you really blame a girl for trying to start a polycule :)

alice i love you i hope you're doing alright <3

ow.

wow.

It's really touching to hear that you were so impacted by that ending. It's also one of my personal favorite parts of the game, in large part for that very same reason. Thank you so much for playing and leaving your comment.

thank you for making the game! personally thought the music worked really well and the vibes of the visuals and overall presentation were generally really appealing.

I really liked the tone of the horror, also. It was fun reading Abigail's narration going from horror to feeling pride in her new body. Did not predict Adam getting eaten, but I probably should have seen it coming.

really beautiful work. I've been really insecure about being plural for a really long time lately because of my headmates not really communicating much with me and this made me feel a lot about that. thank you

I really appreciate that you made me confident beyond a doubt that my injections are clearly working because of how you described the effects of the forcefemming. thank you very much it was really good.

we are streaming here as I type! just finished with it and picking another one but the vod will be here after https://www.twitch.tv/starrymirai

Read this on a stream with a friend, excellent, very good, wonderful. *applause*

this is pretty cool. Sakuya's dynamic with Lilith and Stella is very compelling and I'm really interested in seeing more. I also really liked the music.

This was a neat little story. I really liked the art and the music and the tension of the situation and the ambiguity of Egaeus's motives. Egaeus reacting differently to you giving either her name or Berenice's at the start was a nice touch.

whelp

this was neat. I really liked the presentation, the unreliable narrator element, the tension of it. very cool. good job :)

this is really beautiful. wonderfully conveys the burden of nostalgia for a time and a place you can't go back to and longing for people who will never return. incredible stuff

whoa.....
