SPOILERS ahead:

I found two bugs and a mistake in one of the texts.

The first bug was at the train station, as soon I talked with Tomas about someone breaking in, TWO notes showed up on the handbook: "Tomas has the key to my room" as well as "The boat found in the cave will take us away from the island."

The second bug I'm not sure when it happened, but I have the CGI of Bruto being passed out even though I've never really unlocked it. I've only unlocked his first three CGIs.

The text mistake:

(1 edit)

There's so much potential here. The mix up between a thriller and an adult game is super interesting, and I can't wait to see more.

Thank you for making this awesome demo Ray, and thanks to whoever posted about this hidden gem on r/gaymers!

The survey only had one line for me to write down my feedback, so I'll write it here instead if that's okay. I'll start with some technical stuff, suggestions, and finish with my opinion about the characters.

User Interface

1- I found the pause menu to be a bit too cluttered, everything is on the left of the screen. Maybe the buttons need to be more spaced out or to be put into different places. A nice alternative would be to have a brand new menu just for items, clues, people, and notes.

A small icon for each button would also help to identify them.

2- For all those sexy CGs, it would be nice to have a pause with no dialogue windows. Those would last until the player clicked forward. It would let us look at the images without obstructions.

Alternatively, having a keybinding to hide everything would also be great.

3- It frustrated me that we can only click the menu button at very specific moments. I understand that saving at any time could be cheating, but not being able to load the game after failing dialogue is just not good.

Keybindings

The lack of keybindings was really noticeable too. Some new functions (like quick save/load) with their respective keybindings would be great. Some examples:

  • Fast-forward text until choices (Shift);
  • Forward text or confirm choices (Space Bar/Enter);
  • Select choices (Arrow Keys/W, A, S, D);
  • Open/Close Menu (Esc/Tab);
  • Full-Screen mode (F);
  • Hide text windows (H);
  • Enable/Disable computer voicing (V);
  • Enable/Disable Eye of Truth (Y);
  • Quick Save (F5);
  • Quick Load (F9).

Graphics

My only problem here is how different the protagonist looks compared to everyone else, it's almost a different art style. Maybe some shading on his face would help?

Music

At some points, with the default audio settings, I found the background music to be pretty loud compared to the voices.

Voice

1- This one is a bit tricky. I really like how humorous (in a charming way) these computer voices can be. Some of them are fine, and others are a bit too robotic. Unfortunately, getting them to work during some tense situations or during sex scenes will be quite the feat.

2- I found that, sometimes, Alex's voice goes so fast that he skips over some words.

Other stuff

I wonder if it's possible for an option to add body hair onto the guys? Frank and Don already have some, but it's just so little. A toggle option similar to the game 'Coming Out on Top' would be fantastic (us gays have been spoiled by that game lol).

Characters (Spoilers ahead!)

Protagonist: sometimes he's really broody, but I don't much mind as long as his monolog is not dragged out for too long.

I kinda like that he can be so kinky and vulgar, but it's too bad that those options don't work with the guys we have so far.

What I don't like is when he starts rambling. He sounds so desperate when he does that, it's embarrassing.

Rex: there's not much of him yet, but I liked how openly sexual he is, a bit different from the other guys. I also love his beard, tattoos, and that he's the only one that's not jacked up like all the other guys.

Frank: he's the one I have the biggest crush on and was my first choice. He seems to be an upstanding guy, understanding, and sweet.

I'm not even into feet fetish, but being able to smell and lick his boots only made me crave for more of him! Seeing him naked from the window didn't help either.

Don: definitely the most intriguing guy of the bunch. Very intelligent and smart, he seems to be always on top of things.

I'd like to be his ally at the very least, but at the same time, him wanting to torture the guy that runs away gives me bad vibes.

I love his looks, and let me tell you: holy shit, that's a package!!

Alex: not a fan. I tried to like him, but he seems to be so hard to please if you're not exactly how he wants you to be.

He gives me the impression he's one of those gays that seem way too preoccupied with the idea of anal sex roles. That kind of shit annoys me.

And unlike his body, his hedonism is not sexy at all.

Karl: I like all the mysteriousness around him. It's hard to read him, but unlike Alex, the dynamic with Karl just works better.

He seems to be the most romantic guy. When he came back to look for the protagonist, and when they walked back to the house at night... man, those moments really melted my heart.

He's handsome, but not as much as the other guys (too much tan lol).

Ekram: I'm really curious about the way you're going to write a mute guy and make him interesting. Not much else to say besides that he's absolutely the most handsome guy in this game! A great choice for the first naked guy we're able to see.

(But please, consider giving him some body hair, pretty please?)

Spear: I loved her! All the sassiness, energy, and innuendos were absolutely killing it! I really hope that she doesn't die on the final version, or have an option to prevent that, so we can have some more of her, as well as the man behind the drag queen.

Firstly, I'd like to say that I'm loving this new demo. ❤

About the bug, I've found this weird mosaic censor on the penis of one of the guys, Barto, during an encounter with him in the woods. It only happened when his HP was on level 2. Here are the images:

I assume this is not intended.

Also, I've found this writing mistake at the beginning:
