Lo de "gracias por jugar" está puesto con toda la intención del mundo. De ahí también que esté entrecomillado en la descripción el acto de «Puedes "jugarlo" en el navegador.»
Nos falta un verbo para interactuar con software narrativo que no pretende ser puro entretenimiento, y "consumir" quizá se siente zafio. Leer o ver se sienten más puros, en otros medios.
En cualquier caso, gracias por crear este evento y esta Jam, porque ha sido muy interesante abordar una historia tan local, y además reflejarla sin caer en la ludificación más obvia de "hacerlo divertido" - limitarme a representar los mecanismos por los cuales se desarrolla esta situación: esperar, notificar, esperar, y ver como se infla el patrimonio de una empresa; ha sido más esclarecedor que ningún diseño de videojuego que tuviera la experiencia de "jugar" como pilar.

Ostras sí, se me había olvidado la existencia del generador de trolley problems. Es impresionante este, se lleva la palma de los juegos de decisiones complicadas. Además con las estadísticas de millones de personas tras cada decisión, es fascinante.

I don't consider I've made a game. I just made a piece of software that enables play for the videogames you created. Without your fanzine this is barely a pong-resembling toy, with no scoring or win/lose conditions. The games will live in the mind of a human when they use your fanzine to play a videogame using the software I programed.

I believe new videogames can be born from changing the rules of existing software designed to be a videogame.
For example, DOTA (the famous MOBA) was born from heavily changing Warcraft III's rules and was later developed into a standalone software designed to feature those custom rules. Moreover, DOTA 2's rules were modified once more to create the famous Auto Chess, eventually becoming its own standalone version when they developed software that specifically played by those rules.
I also think in GTA5 roleplaying servers, or Minecraft game modes designed by users. Speedrunning and No-hit runs also feel like their very own genre, which looks to go beyond the rules imposed by the software to play in a specific way and accomplish their own objective (new rules, new objective: new game?).
Of course, you're still using that software that was designed to be a specific videogame to play in a different way. However, it still embodies the idea of the videogame being what happens when a human uses some software to play a particular game, not necessarily the intended by the creators of that software.

What you say it's super interesting, especially about how "I interacted with this software more via investigation rather than a playful curiosity" -- Since you weren't playing this software we are unsure of if it's a game, whilst if I hadn't uploaded as an experiment and more of a (random example) "A game about how we remember feelings from our childhood" we'll think of it as a game?
To me, our attitude towards it gives software the quality of being a videogame. Context plays a huge part: To present it as a videogame, to approach it as a videogame... but all of those elements are aids to enter the magic circle that confers this program the status of videogame.
I was editing the settings file for the project and decided to get playful with it and actually make it part of the essay.
Just look for the settings.ini file in the game's folder :)
