thank you for playing!

hey! i'm really hoping to play your game, but i have an error when i try to run it in the browser, have you happened to see if this happens to you or anyone else? could just be a me issue but wanted to clarify here first

the error states:

Error: Couldn't load project data at path "/". Is the .pck file missing?

thank you for playing! haha yeah i've seen them in some of my friend's games and other games and thought it's a pretty cool background filler!

thank you for playing! yeah i plan on going back to redo the how2play screen haha, i've had some of my friends play it and it took them a bit to figure it out too

i also unfortunately can't rate your entry due to me only having access to a laptop with MacOS and i see that your game is a Windows downloadable only :(

thank you for playing! appreciate it, yeah i added state machines to them and those randomly switch after some time but it ended up not proving as diverse as i'd hope haha - hoping to tweak it a bit

appreciate you commenting about the cover art!! was really hoping for that to get recognized, had a friend of mine design it and it came out great!

thank you for playing! haha he needs to be everyone's barber!!

thank you for playing! haha i appreciate the nice list & comments :DD

good job!! simple story & solid assets put together, nice platform game!

thank you for playing! yeah for sure

very unique concept, i enjoyed it! i was happy to get a lot of mites & cd's

thank you!

cool game! i kept getting stuck at the bigger ogre, it seems like i could get pass all the other monsters with ease except for that one haha - cool design!

thank you for playing!

thank you!

great game! the mechanic was super fleshed out and i had a great time getting through all the levels, it had be instantly immersed, great job!!

amazing game!! loved this entry, super well done - loved the casual buildup in difficulty and learning how to dash and parry at the same time was a nice experience and made it very satisfying to parry. it took a bit to get the parrying timing down with the cooldown, but it was still very cool - great job!

thanks for playing! i'm glad it make your cut :D

cool slippery gaming! honestly the music & sfx were really nicely placed with the game, it really set the atmosphere - cool levels & fun use of the grappling hook - good job!

thank you!

cinema

one of my favorite games to come out of this jam! i'm a sucker for more casual experiences and i feel like evey part of this game was executed with so much care & detail! the visual pixel shader is great with all the planets and even the player ship! the music and sfx really immerse the player very easily with it's cosmic and cheerful tune - great job to the team - you all should be proud!

one of my favorite games from this jam! i only have access to an older laptop so the performance wasn't the best for my experience, but i thoroughly enjoyed the game still! the idea is super unique and was well executed through all the games - i really felt a lot of player feedback in every interaction i did, and the loading screens + music were also very well done - great job!

i also had the UI issue and your fix helped, thank you!

great game! i loved the puzzle twist for the levels, it took a bit to get a handle on the directions, but the UI showing the directions helped a lot! great work!

i also had issues with the UI which hurt my experience playing bc i couldn't see the levels at all, but saw the earlier comment by @Cookie that had made about zooming out and it worked! which was really nice cause i was hoping to get to play the game

thank you for playing!

thank you for playing! yeah i was hoping to include some i-frames after the player is hit to prevent multiple collisions against enemies that overlap each other, but didn't have enough time - good callout!!

thank you for playing! yeah one of my goals for this jam was to really lean into player feedback/juice/crunch so i'm glad you felt that way!

amazing work! i loved how much all the assets really represented the slick theme! one of my favorite games to see out of this jam - everything went fluid and great to play - i did feel like there was a lot of opportunities to get soft-locked in the first level which made it a bit harder to get through, but i could see there were spikes in place so you could easily restart if that happend, so good design there! super slick idea and great execution on it, good job to the team!

thank you for playing! ah no worries, yeah that's unfortunately an accessibility issue with the controls

thank you for playing! i'm happy to hear that! aw man i thought i had fixed that bug, appreciate the callout!

great execution on a cool idea! i'm a stickler for games centered around Pasta so i enjoyed seeing this entry, it was a fun gameplay loop running around while making sure to not slip on the pasta as much as possible. a lot of variables to constantly be aware of - the visuals were also very well done and consistent through all the assets - unfortunately i play on an older laptop and the performance wasn't the best so it was a bit hard to play, but i was able to watch a YouTube video that another player posted to fill in the gaps! good job to the team :)

thank you for playing!! aw i had tried to make a spawn condition to prevent enemies from spawning right on top of you, but i guess i need to rework it - and yeah, i also felt that way a bit with the scaling, kiting is a pretty big part in the later waves so it would probably be best to play area was a bit bigger - i appreciate the insights and kind comments!!

what a fun game!! nice core gameplay loop that forces the player to stay engaged, i got to round 4 and kept losing haha. seeing the variety of item were cool and it definitely balanced well with the difficulty of how fast the cups are moving. great idea & great execution - good job to the team!

amazing execution on a solid idea! love how polished everything is and the delivery is amazing per usual! i've had little experience with rhythm games, but this was a fun challenge! great job to the team

yep exactly! i'm still learning about it myself, this was the first time i've actually properly done transitions haha

thank you for playing! yeah i didn't have enough time to add as much content as i would've liked, i tried to spend a lot of time on the transition. oh wow what a coincedence haha!

nice question! not quite, i use a sceneManager scene via autoload to manage and play the transitions when going to the subwayEntrance and entering the next scene. i use an animationPlayer to create transitions that have me adjusting the parameters of the shader i followed a tutorial on. the tutorial for the shader can be found here:

thank you for playing! hope the hot cocoa warmed you up this cold season haha

that makes sense, i didn't think about detection of trash before it appears - currently the trash can't spawn within an invisible perimeter around and on top of the player so you don't immediately run into something (a little bugged as of rn), but thank you for the note!!

thank you for playing!

amazing execution on a solid concept! gameplay felt solid and i love the accessibility option with a controller, felt like an appropriate diffculty level for a game jam. all the visuals come together nicely - great job!!
