The .rar file should be openable with winrar. It's been live for a few days now and there's been no reports of this so think it's something on your side.

This hasn't been reported before, so might be the download got corrupted. I would recommend re-downloading the game

If you update the app to the new version, it keeps your saves from the previous one. If you delete the app it deletes your saves.

You only see this map in cutscenes, it's not designed to be explored, how did you break out of that? You'll need to reload an earlier save.

You can use a mouse for control as well. The game works on steam deck so it can work with a controller, I can't comment on specific models as I don't have them to test it with.
