I love this game. It feels so polished. Every element is thought out and complements the plot. I liked your description in class of feeling "sad" but also whimsical, I think you captured that really well. It feels lonely, and the juxtaposition between it feeling so childlike, but also all the "adult" responsibilities the child is forced to contend with (feeding themself, studying, time management) leaves me feeling really sad, too. I have a real longing for play and silliness that just isn't achievable in this game -- and also is so hard in quarantine. Really really well done.

I really like the tone of this project -- your color palette and sound choices create a really cohesive mood. I also had trouble navigating -- I agree with LishLab, some controller keys would be helpful.

Really well executed - especially considering the narrow field of exploration in the game. All elements worked really well together, it felt really cohesive. My only thing was that it felt like a long time to be doing only one action. Well done!!

I really like the moment of choice you allow us to make - seemingly arbitrary (where to hit?), but simultaneously high stakes! Really fun slow-mo at the end. It already has a fun tone, but you could enhance it with lighting and color choices.

the aesthetics are really nice! even though there's a lot of text, I like the style of it, the sizing, and the fact that we can move through it at our own pace :) I'd love to be able to make another choice though!

I love the terrain - it's really fun to move through this space. I liked how minimal you were with your text cues - only f to pick up sword - the rest is intuitive. the color and nighttime lighting effect made me actually nervous about sneaking past the patrol people! I think some minimal sound design could help up the stakes -- either suspenseful music, or hearing the whitewalkers, or our own nervous breath. Great job!

I like that you gave us the option of more than an A/B choice. I also like the narrative language you used to guide us in the corner. I had trouble navigating through space though - my player kept rotating upside-down.

I love the playfulness of this game! It's funny. Your directions are very clear - I felt comfortable navigating the environment. Maybe you could include some context about who the people on the other side of the door are to me, or use lighting to indicate if some of them are more powerful than others. Great job!

I like the scale you used for the game objects. I had fun kicking the balls around, but wasn't sure how to get them to do what you demo'd in class. Maybe some text could help make that clearer?

I love the environment you created with audio (so suspenseful) and color (bright, monochromatic palette is overwhelming, in a good way). I like the strange command of "press x to descend into madness." I had trouble figuring out what the goal of the game was -- do I want to descend into madness? -- but I didn't really mind not knowing, since the environment was so interesting.
