Incredible art style, congrats!

Oh hey, I was playing BINA the other day - how cool!

Thank you so much, if you join the Steam playtest I'd love any feedback with balancing - and there's an endless mode there to try too! It should open up in the next few days. ;)

thanks man!

does your computer have a touch screen by any chance? pretty sure that might be the reason, just pushed an update, let me know if it fixes it! Sorry I couldn’t reproduce it on my laptop.

thanks man!

cheers! appreciate the comment and glad you had fun!

Super fun game - was really nice twist on the formula.

If you'd like some unsolicited design feedback, I would make the dirt/floor texture a bit darker so the sprites are easier to see. Quick example attached.

Can't wait to play again :)

Before / after:

Appreciate it - thank you so much for leaving a comment :)

Great points and thank you!

  1. Whetstone is tricky because it's hard to make it not too OP but I do like the idea of scaling chance based on number of swords in a non-hit match. Keep an eye out after I test it carefully.
  2. Yeah in the demo, Arja doesn't come with any explanation. I'll bring a full-build mechanic across, which is a short Zerker intro to explain how arrows are different from swords. They also don't pierce but the animation implies they too. It was a visual choice that's become quite confusing, so I'll patch that first so any arrows that overkill hit the walls, and hit arrows don't.

Thanks for the spot on questions and feedback!

edit: Arja tutorial live!

Done - you can select to swap in controls in the options menu now. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the game!

Beautiful and well crafted game, well done!

no worries! I’ll add space to the tutorial as it’s kinda hidden right now. Plus a full controls settings tab soon!

edit: Done!

Appreciate the wishlist and your amazing feedback - made my day! Thank you for playing and commenting!

Appreciate the direct feedback! There were too many enemy waves with Arja that blocked bow tiles, fixed that + updated with some balance fixes - hope you try again and let me know what you think!

Thank you for the feedback and kind words. Nostalgia for sure, 8-bit was my childhood!

Just updated with some balance fixes - hope you try again and let me know what you think. Long road ahead of micro adjustments for sure. :)

You're awesome!

Thank you for the comment. Great spot, it's definitely a bug. It will be fixed shortly!

Thank you so much! Keep an eye out for a new build shortly, it feels more balanced (hopefully!).

Cool pack and cool presentation!

thanks Bobo, hope to see you again 🤘

Such kind words - thank you! Do you find Arja too OP and Woria too hard also?

thank you so much!

Really appreciate the feedback, it’s a challenge once you’ve played and tested a game for so long to have an objective view of how hard it is, so that’s really good to know.

I’m continually updating and bug fixing the game including this demo so it will be tweaked!

it can definitely get difficult! I’m still tweaking balance, let me know any specifics you seem to have trouble with 😊

Really cool game (wishlisted!) - I especially love the art and music, it's such a great vibe. Best of luck with the full release!

Hi, welcome back! I understand, the game is currently being developed for Steam with all the new features, characters, levels and full desktop UI. But mobile is on the roadmap. 😊

Please join the Drop Loot discord if you like and I’ll shoot you a message about the legacy version. 🙏🏻

Absolutely lovely. :)

Haha thank you so much, hope you like how the sounds sound!

So kind of you again, thank you! Thanks for trying it out :)

Amazing pack, exactly what I was looking for - thanks and great work!

I love this - reminds me of Delver and Barony. And the core loop is fun - keep it up!

Thank you for the kind words, so happy you enjoyed it! Having it understandable without needing to read 20 pages of instructions was really the goal, so that means a lot. Thanks again!

Awesome game, love simple roguelikes like this that have surprising amounts of depth (no pun intended). Great job!

Aw thanks for commenting again, that means a lot! It definitely sounds great in headphones right?

Thank you so much!

Amazing work, I've added a lot of your sounds to DROP LOOT and gave you credit: https://johnreno.itch.io/droploot

Thanks again!

Awesome, I wish you all the best  😊

this is super cool - would have loved to have this on a game boy back in the day. Can’t wait to see how you progress with it. And great intro sequence too!

Played back in 2004, still love it. Amazing!
