I loved that you made a leaderboard for a game jam! Fun visuals too!

Fun game! Loved the music!

Hope you like it! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4313338

Rated! Could you do mine too? https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4313338

Cute game. Since you're looking for feedback:

During the first level, I got confused what the game wanted from me. I think it might have been better if there was more feedback when breaking the walls; audio, particle effects, screen shake, etc. Game Juice. Or even break them in one go.

The second thing is challenge. Simply pressing a button and then being allowed through is not that engaging. Maybe you have to earn a new shape, or you can only change between a set of X shapes and need to move back and forth through a level in the correct order. Especially for a game jam, people have very short attention spans, so you need to be wary not to bore them in the early levels, even if the later levels are awesome.

Regardless though, well done! Especially for a solo dev. Making something and putting it out there is what's most important, regardless of how bare bones that thing is!

Great concept! Loved the ms paint-like visuals too!

The simple look and the floaty, basic controls really set me up for a simple, rushed, game jam game. But the whole narration and expanded moveset does elevate it. Well done, especially for a solo dev!

Love a cute puzzle platformer. We also considered a multi-dimensional game as a concept but choose something else instead. I doubt ours would've been this good!

Cutee! As I was playing, I kept thinking  "Wow, this looks so polished". The artwork looks great. And the attention to detail (splash screen, little audio ticks with the UI, etc.) is stunning. Well done!

Interesting game. Simple concept but great execution!

Thank you so much! We really aimed for portal vibes with the testing facility setting / voice over

Thank you so much! I'll be sure to check out your game too!

Thanks!

Thank you

Thank you! Yeah, we really wanted a very corporate sounding British voice but had to settle for TTS in the end

Cheeese!

Very well done. Simple concept executed perfectly. The puzzles were designed very cleverly too

Cool game. The visual effects and post processing were very nice. The mechanics were rather simple but still engaging. Audio fit very well too. I expected a bit more of a narrative focus in the gameplay as well.

Feedback is always appreciated: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4313338

Thank you! I'll check out yours too!

Thank you! Yeah, we hoped the color filter would fix the worst of it but the last level can be quite disorienting

Loved the trippy visuals and postprocessing effects. Very nice supporting soundtrack too. I wished there was a bit more gameplay-wise, but it stands very well on its own as a sort of artsy cinematic experience.

Very well done. The artstyle looks great. There was sufficient variety in the different assets. The pacing was great with the options for upgrades every once in a while. The eerie writing illuding to some greater lovecraftian horrors.

Very well executed overall!

My only comment would be that I would've liked more upgrades as I went further, since I had a lot of meat that I couldn't really spend.

Really well done!

For trademark reasons it's brominos, a totally unique and unrelated pizza chain ;)

Simple but enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to place a collection point closer to the start of the level. I was a bit confused what to do with all the collected balls before I found that point

Fun game! Really one of those games that makes the most out of simple mechanics. The first level left me wanting a bit more; more enemies, more things in the game to engage with. And then the second level delivered with new visuals, enemies, and unlockable doors.

One thing I would've liked to see would've been some camera smoothing: Right now, if you go from moving to one side to the other, the camera snaps, as it is not centered. Some smoothing on this would make that a bit less jarring.

Overall very well done though!

Very cute art and simple, easy to understand gameplay. The concept doesn't feel too connected to the theme though, more like something you just liked to make. But sometimes that's what game jams are for

Cute game. Surprisingly enjoyable for such a simple concept. I found myself playing it quite a few times.

I noticed that the monster would sometimes teleport and that could corner me in specific parts of the map. Swapping back and forth between the different views to track both the cat and the monster was very engaging.

Cute game. The art, music, and gameplay work really well. I would've liked a tutorial though (There was a button but it didn't work for me). Good work nonetheless!

Very polished. Post processing looks very nice. And including an online multiplayer feature on a game jam game is a ballsy move.

Nice work. Beautiful skyboxes. The floaty physics fit the 'space' theme. The color coded blocks were a nice touch. The puzzle design could have been a bit more creative, but understandable given the limited time and the fact that you made it by yourself. Well done!

Nice game. Very good concept for a game jam, where you start simple and can always add more content / features later. One thing that I did miss was audio though, that would've added a lot.
