Yeah the game creator went broke because people stopped funding him after he took way too long to deliver an update. So now he's gonna make a new game for funding this one. So we are gonna have to wait a bit. He revealed this on his Twitter.

You don't need to program a barebones game, but in order to add new features like an rpg puzzle or anything unique it does take programming. You need to stop being an asshole and learn some stuff.
